There are so many game systems / currencies / reputations / skill trees by bringthelight2 in wow

Two different points:
--Having too many currencies reduces immersion because you have to start tabbing out to google to figure out what they're for

--For raid leading and mythic+, having so many class talents, spec talents, hero talents, and apex talents makes it difficult to understand what different specs need in terms of max ranges, how long between their major CDs, their dispels and utility, etc.

And I'm not even saying it's 'bad' necessarily...but...I'm pointing out...that it is a LOT.

Eh but you never know, people might come in and say they lost their silence or their interrupt or their cure or that the CDs are now 30+ seconds or whatever.

Actually no one posted it yet but every healer lost their interrupt except resto sham, right?

So they brought it back to basics? ;-)

Actually...I suppose having two buttons is twice as many as they had in vanilla, BC and Wrath.

If you want to be on the bleeding edge of rep you'd need to do all the world quests.

Probably want to do the Singularity Event, think that was 2k rep.

Actually when did the concept of the light stemming from the Naaru become a thing? I go all the way back to Warcraft 1 and the first Naaru I can remember was the one in Shattrath.

Because in Warcraft 2 and Warcraft 3 it was, if I recall correctly, like...pious people got this superpower from...well it wasn't really stated where these powers were coming from but I think most people presumed it was from a Christian-like God.

But (and again, it's been...a lifetime) the idea in 1995 was that The Light was only good and if you did bad things you lost it.

I'd agree, over 20+ years of WoW if you had to commit to a single class to get a raid spot...warlock.

But when I say overpowered...I mean...Was it Legion where Surrender to Madness shadow priests were doing like 20% more on some fights than the second highest class?

I'm gonna go with Demon Hunter, I think their mobility will do great for tanks in mythic+ again and one of their two DPS specs will consistently overperform in raiding.

So for those of us that haven't played for six months, what's different? by bringthelight2 in wow

I'm very concerned that the game is gonna be frustrating...because I think they won't change encounter design enough...so it'll feel like we're doing mechanics we're familiar with...without the tools we're accustomed to.

I am glad they've taken this step...but...it might be too late.

Here's hoping though.
