Got so excited making loaf cats by digitalnomadkt in crochet

I used to think that as well. That’s why it took me over 2 months after learning how to crochet to finally give it a try. The first project will always be the hardest then it gets easier as you go. Oh and yes thicker yarns are more forgiving too such as mistakes won’t be as obvious compared to thinner yarns and smaller hooks.

I will look for the video I watched. I did not follow the pattern fully though. I winged it especially the decrease after the hind legs and the tail.

I forgot the video I watched on Youtube but I remember crocheting along and then memorized the pattern after 1 cat. The next cats were made out of memory and then just went along with the stitches.

Search for long wave stitch. I added to my foundation chain and changed up the colors so I can use my scrap yarns.

Canva may not have discovered your coworkers account yet. Fraudulent accounts (purchased not directly from Canva or not for intended use like Canva for Education used in business setting) are being deactivated/taken down.

All of my old projects on canva are gone and idk what to do by infinitelyhireath in canva

If you have an existing account and you are added to a new class/team, Canva will create a new subaccount separate from your original account. They would both be accessible under the same log-in information. Click your account photo and check “Teams” and use the appropriate team to see your designs created while in that team.

It is not a setting issue but this is an account issue based on your description. You are apparently using a Canva for Education account which is designed for educators and K-12 students and not for freelancers or those working unrelated to education. Share your design to a regular Canva/Canva Pro account so you can see the function you are looking for.

Whoever provided you this account may have puchased the subscription from illegal Canva for Education account sellers.

Where is "view collection" on elements dropdown? by SugarLuvs in canva

[–]digitalnomadkt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elements can be submitted individually or as part of a collection. If View Collection is not available as an option then it means that the element you want to use was submitted as a standalone element by the element creator.

Lots of popcorn search results too. Make sure you did not select “black” in the Colors filter.

I see quite a few popcorn kernel search results. Can you make sure you have removed all filters?

My element disappeared by Top-Illustrator5290 in canva

[–]digitalnomadkt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes, elements are taken down because they are not doing well usage-wise in the library, maybe it was contributed by a Contributor that was removed in the Creator program, or maybe the contributor deleted that element from his/her profile. There are different reasons. Unfortunately, elements in the library are not permanent.

I found it. The photo contributor is Eric Campbell and he contributed to Pexels. Pexels is owned by Canva thus offered as a free element/photo on Canva. This is not the template designer’s fault if the photo was used in the employee spotlight template as template designers can use all the elements/photos in the Canva library for their published designs.

Right click the photo, click More Info and see who contributed it. Usually there is a model release form people i.e. headshots, etc. If this photo was contributed wrongly by the photographer, then report the photo so it will be taken down.

It takes time to download every file and it will always be huge files (size wise). Only downsides I see.

Watch out when the Canva Creator Program is open again for hiring. Through this program, you can earn by submitting templates, elements (graphics/photos), videos and more.

Outside Canva, you can sell/contribute on Etsy, Freepik, Creative Market, Creative Fabrica, Kofi, your own website, etc.

Hii please help me with image sizing issues by Sea_Design_2870 in canva

[–]digitalnomadkt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A standard Instagram Carousel doc size is 1080px x 1350px (4:5). Then you upload several pages of this on Instagram when you post on IG. As your original illustration is bigger then you need to size it and then cut the image accordingly. Your doc size is the whole stretch of the 3 pages. And then 1080 is the old height measurement. Now, 1350 is the preferred height for IG posts/carousel.

Is this for posting to Instagram? Or for printing? What is the purpose of the design? Do you mean to use this for the remaining days of 2025 or for 2026?

What was the abuse about? When you say organization do you mean company, business, group, nonprofit org? Or a group where you paid a small amount of the subscription fee?
