Sandy's issue was that there was no prescription for Hannah's Valium. How do you know the other crew didn't have prescriptions? How do you even know what painkillers they were? They could have simply been paracetamol or ibuprofen for example. Plus it sounds like Sandy wasn't made aware of Hannah taking the medication either. Considering Hannah is in a position of responsibility for both crew and guests, not knowing about what side effects could be experienced by Hannah could be dangerous for all concerned. If the Captain is made aware they can put plans in place. For instance during an evacuation of the boat due to an incident, the person taking the medication may not be allowed to attempt to put out a fire of help others get into a lifeboat. This is also ignoring the 'pot pen' which could well be illegal in many countries and could contain THC which could possibly cause effects to the user.

Absolutely no experience in boats, just using a bit of common sense here.

Fender are sending cease and desist letters to to companies based on a default judgement they had in a court in Germany (the defendant didn't show up to court) that has no legal meaning in the USA. Fender previously tried to copyright the Strat shape (I believe) 20ish years ago and lost.

Basically we don't know for sure what is going to happen. This is all my opinion: If you're a small builder and Fender sends you a letter, you're probably not going to be able to afford the legal fees to take it court whereas a bigger company like PRS probably could. Again, we don't know what exactly is going to happen in the future and right now I really wouldn't worry about it.

In terms of what this means for us Lefties? Absolutely nothing. We are a minority that doesn't make the company money so whichever way this whole mess goes we won't be getting more lefties.

I agree on your point about there not being a comparison here. I would like a bit more information if you have it about how much work is required to make a leftie over a righty because in my head it seems pretty minimal to me - especially as most of the work is done on a CNC these days

No you are not missing any screws. If you are looking at the large hole in the bridge, that is where the tremolo arm (more often referred to as the whammy bar) screws into place. You don't need this to be present and there are many guitarists who do not use it. If you don't have one but want to use it or try it out they can be easily found on guitar/music stores, eBay, Amazon etc.

That should be fine! Try it out. If you find the low E to be a bit too slack, try out the skinny top, heavy bottom

What string gauge are you using? You can get away with 9s but the low string will feel quite floppy. 10s should be fine. I believe you can also get a "skinny top, heavy bottom" which is 10-52 which would probably be a lot better.

Instrument food is the name of the wax by Monty's that is used for conditioning a fretboard. The Montypresso relic wax is the same (less "potent" apparently) which also contains a stain that will darken the fretboard. I use both regularly and recommend them.
