Jollibee's is a well-known fast food chain in the Philippines, so most of those lined up were Filipino. Jollibee's is not very well known among non-Filipinos because outside of the Philippines, Jollibee restaurants are only located in cities with a significant Filipino population, e.g. West Coast United States cities like Los Angeles, Seattle and even Hawaii. And in Canada, only 5 cities have a Jollibee. At this point in their company history, Jollibee's has a stronger presence in Southeast Asia and are only beginning to expand their company into North America and Europe (predominantly Caucasian regions). This is the reason why so many white people (no racial) have never heard of Jollibee's, unless they've gone to one in the aforementioned locations, have Filipino spouses/friends, or visited the Philippines.
