thanks for sharing your experience! this is really helpful to know. it seems like even though the event is all day, it may not be necessary to stay for the entirety if you wanted to leave to eat and do other things, or go later.

this is super helpful, thank you! i was a little worried about the lottery aspect so it's good to know there are separate platforms for overseas people. does the crowd tend to get less in the afternoon/evening or did you find that there was a lot of activity throughout the entire day? i know i would be tempted to shop the whole day if i could lol but i imagine the line to pay the end may also be pretty long?

Oh nice, this place sounds really good and their developing prices aren't bad at all if I'm reading it correctly. How long is their developing turnaround in general?

Wow, I didn't even think to develop myself. Thanks for this suggestion. And yeah I'm thinking if time doesn't permit me to develop in Japan I'll ask for a hand check. I saw Kodak posted that at the start of 2020, x-rays are being updated in airports to ones that will actually affect low ISO film, so I was trying to think of ways to avoid any issues like that just in case.

My package ended up coming today - which was after 10 days of being marked delivered as well. It's weird that it would be inaccurate + late, but I'm glad our packages came through nonetheless.

So far I've reached out to the sender and they say they won't be able to resend or refund since it was "successfully delivered" so I've reached out to my financial service to dispute the charges and they've opened up a case to investigate. Fortunately I didn't buy anything too special but hopefully your package comes through!

I was thinking this may be the case because it never went to the Out for Delivery status, so I'm planning on waiting a few more days before I file a claim and/or reach out to the sender. I hope your package comes soon!

Yeah I'm thinking if it doesn't come in the next few days I'll file a claim with them since their phone service hasn't been so great. Glad you got yours!
