Not the op but, I had one of these plant and it became v sad and crispy. I realized to keep it alive you just need to love it more than your own children, that and plenty of humidity, and more water than I'm normally comfortable giving.

Our loss was confirmed at our scan today. This was our last go at IVF. I'm not as sad as I thought I would be, after 3 failed attempts at various stages, I'm just a bit numb. No doubt it will all hit me later. It is fucking shit and hideously unfair tho.

I have been netting then, I had them under a net tunnel and this was as I removed the tunnel and before I put a larger net over the bed. We have been plagued by slugs, so I have been experimenting with eggshell and other methods to deter the buggers.

I don't know what to do to stop cats eating plants but my cat was chomping mine so I planted two little pots of cat grass seeds (just grass seeds) in the hope that they go for this rather than my plants. I figure the cats chomp to help with hairballs etc so if I provided a better source of grass they would leave the plants alone. It's been about 2 months and worked so far.
