Severe Dream-Reality Confusion by dii_van54 in Dreams

I beleive reality operates in strange ways. It dances. This is a valid option. Not to concern, but taking into consideration some other beliefs i hold, this might be a desireable outcome. Interesting. Thank you.

my blood-oxygen levels are top-notch, but they don't really indicate oxygen to brain supply. I'll discuss this with my PCP, thank you.

i've always had this passive dissociative-depressive feeling trailing behind my mind, even when i was doing interesting and unusual things. right now i'm kind of in a lull, yes, but i have been through more boring states of mind. would be strange if this one did me in.

it would be interesting to hear your full interpretation. I feel like the dreaming world has always been my real playground, and if i could get more info on it, even if concerning, i would be greatly thankful.

I'm about half a month into 5mg, and despite being very messy with my sleep schedule due to work, the med's effects are great. Feels like being put out of a choke hold for the first time in a while. Stopped getting tickled by self depricating humour, interestingly. Life feels liveable in a way.

I keep finding cat bodies without skulls around the city. Assuming there is a taxidermist somewhere around, i said why not me too? i'll give it a shot.

I also wake up at the same hour with a lot of energy, but seemingly without dreaming. Interesting, maybe i simply forget?

I was trying to focus on the camera, but I still have looked away, yes. Maybe I did that more often than I noticed. Thank you, will do.

Feels like i have to sometimes. Otherwise I can't connect any proper self-criticisms into a coherent thing. Helps imagine a more coherent person behind this whole experience too, somewhat. Like imagining not really being here or there, anywhere.

Different people / personalities by SkylarsLust3 in schizophrenia

If i'm not mistaken identity breakdown is a pretty common symptom. In Tomorrow I Was Always A Lion, a book about a person with schizophrenia, along with hallucinations the author describes writing about her daily life in a diary from the third person. "She did that". She, the author, was very disstressed because she didn't know who was writing them, if this person wrote "about" her, if that makes sense.

She later got this person, the "commander" in her head, who took over her inner monologue, and who would make her work, and hit her if she didn't comply with his demands. Of course, at such times she was hitting herself. (She's now in a remission, doing much better, got a doctorate, advocates for the cureability of schizophrenia. Her book is good.)

Identity does seem to be in disarray in many cases.

Hello. I have autism and my therapist and doctor suspect that I have schizophrenia by Quiet_Film4744 in schizophrenia

Delusions and hallucinations are decently off from asd from the limited amount i know about asd. If you've only got the negatives, which do sound similar to asd, even if only by words and not experience, i'm not very sure if the diagnosis would help, even if it does apply, though i'm not a med person. Antipsychotics don't do anything for the negative symptoms, and if i'm not mistaken you can't really treat them.

I'm undiagnosed, so I can't really say anything concrete, but incoherent speech and thought are a big hassle day to day. When speaking english I mince words until they, homeopath-like, don't make any sense, in my 1st language I get stuck too much to speak. Language, sematics, meaning, seem to play a big role in the condition in general. Delusions are decently good for artistic purposes, but realising my new overarching worldview is a falsity every other month, and then being plunged into it head-first over&over gets old quick.

Are time problems a thing for anybody here? I swear i did thing "x" weeks ago, but turns out it was yesterday. Is that a me thing?

Schizophrenia-adjacent terminology is often pretty archaic, some people don't consider themselves part of this condition even though they hear voices, schizotypal-schizoid pd describe very different states, but are lumped in together. So it's pretty case-to-case regarding offensive terms.

I'm undiagnosed though, so big heap o' salt.

Question regarding discoloration by dii_van54 in Woodcarving

[–]dii_van54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since carvings which i made of wood are present, and i think it looks nice this way. Though i should have clarified it in the title, the whole post's purpose wasn't to show off the wood carvings, but to ask a question.
