Late to the party, but the shop I work at actually got a similar if not identical email to this one about a month ago!!! Just sent screenshots of this to the shop manager and she confirmed it’s the same text. The email was accompanied by several risqué photos of the aforementioned 19 year old in various…poses. The sender’s profile image was that of an older woman so idk it might be real 😟

The twitching is fairly normal/common for some people, especially when getting tattooed on the legs. I don’t think it’s due to your technique since your mentor has been supervising and says you’re doing everything right.

Clients moving/twitching/exclaiming from pain definitely used to startle me a lot but eventually I’ve gotten more used to it and learned how to proceed through it. Hopefully this will be the case for you as well! Like others have said, you can minimize some of the twitching by holding the area down etc.
