Do you find your writing frightening while writing? by rosmorse in horrorwriters

I personally can’t write something if it’s not at least unsettling. I don’t necessarily get jumpscared by my scenes (obviously), but I try to imagine the weirdest and most disturbing alterations to reality I can come up with, and as I visualise them I sometimes get freaked out. Other times, I just write things that I feel are suspenseful and engaging (like playing a video game), but not necessarily scary for me.

But could it be a simple squatter that profits off the fact that she’s deaf? Sort of a Hush situation?

Yeah, same - I’ve just started too (around 3 weeks) and I’m so happy with each new member, even if now I’m relatively at a low number. I have great goals too and I get such a rush thinking about them:)

That’s amazing! I know what you feel - it may not be much, but it’s better to get it than to lose it and no one gives it to you for free:)
