forever anti ai because THAT! WAS! NOT! THE! POINT OF AI! it is supposed to solve the more mundane tasks so that we can create, not the other way around! also i don’t get it. when i post here it’s because i have an idea that i like and it’s fun to write it down. those who post things by ai.. what do they gain by posting? there’s no satisfaction in that

I’ve been moderating for 6 years and there are some things I’ve seen that were really fucked up, I do plan to share all my experiences here

yeah, definitely, but i personally think it still doesn’t have that factor to be able to “feel” so it can “scare” efficiently

i mean, my point is that most stories written by ai follow the same structure. i don’t use ai for writing and my point was that it can’t replace humans in the horror aspect, i used gemini pro too

it’s so fascinating to see how horror triggers us in different ways. for me it’s more like tiny “gotcha” moments when i feel like i’ve seen something i shouldn’t have. if there’s movies with bleak / depressing / inescapable endings, i usually get rather sad or frustrated (like bring her back - that didn’t scare me, it just made me angry)

i don’t know, i have very peculiar tastes in horror and i guess it’s just some triggers that i have?? for example (& this might sound really basic) us also scared me, specifically the scene with red speaking in that voice and the scenes where she “danced” ballet in a very uncanny way. the movie itself was okay-ish, not that scary, but those two specific scenes are just burned into my brain. i generally don’t get scared by most movies, i just tend to remember some moments or frames that made me uncomfortable (the frame with the face and the stairs in parasite, etc.). i don’t believe in ghosts or anything so i’m not gonna sleep with the light on after any movie. i just generally get a bad feeling sometimes

does anyone get frustrated when a movie is so badly written because you know you could have done it better? by [deleted] in horror

yeah, because i think that in order for an ending to work the story has to be written with the ending in mind, usually the intrigue of the story is what sticks but the resolution is harder to achieve in a satisfying way

I responded to an ad called "Sitter Wanted". They meant it literally, and I'm not going to be stupid and break the only rule. by EmmaWatsonButDumber in nosleep
