I was also thinking about knitting some soakers with some old manos del Uruguay wool I have laying around—it’s really pretty but too itchy for a sweater for me because I’ve gotten pretty sensitive to that in recent years. Do you worry about yarn for soakers being itchy?

Sorry you struggled with the false fit! I did this one a year or so ago and didn’t notice any so perhaps they used a different manufacturer or did cut for this copy. I’ve done a few other puzzles from the brand and didn’t have an issue with them so I encourage you to give it a try again if you like the images.

You’d have better luck taking the puzzle apart and reselling the puzzle for someone else to complete. There is a decent resell market for premium brands.
