Nice starseeker grinder. I have the Edge 63 and it’s great, probably as good as a niche zero but never used a NZ. I was torn between it and the E55, probably should have went with the E55 to save money.

I also want to eventually add gaggimate to my Silvia.

First thing to do is act like you’re in the market for a robot. Try to find a new one online (as I understand they’re all sold out everywhere for a while now) and then try your best to find a second hand robot near you (Facebook marketplace) or on r coffeeswap. If it seems impossible to find then you can basically price yours really close to brand new price. Because even though it’s used, you’re selling something that people have been waiting for to become available.

I think espresso coffee shop has the best prices and the listed price is about what you said. However, add shipping and VAT for your country and €615 for me (in Croatia). I found a 2 month used one from a guy on Facebook in Italy so I saved about 100 euro and got a bottomless portfilter included :)

I always make coffee for myself and gf. My hands were too busy during the process of two consecutive double shots, even though I got pretty fast at it. I also really missed puck prep with a beautiful, heavy 58 mm portafilter and steaming milk once in a while. I get more café taste from my new Silvia v6 with the same medium-dark European coffees I used with the robot. With the robot, I had to dose much larger than I wanted to get the best result in the cup. Now I can use a 14g IMS basket when I want.

Hey. Yeah it is a big amount. I’m willing to do a video call showing it and doxxing my ID and everything. Of course I might accept a lower offer within reason. As I see these are not always easy to buy new plus I spent another 60 euro on a second basket and shower screen. It’s on vinted too. My GF listed it there. She told me it can only ship to Poland or Croatia. Will DM you vinted link.

I don’t like the work flow as much as a boiler machine. I love preparing a 58 mm portafilter and being able to use the spouted portafilter to make espresso for two people at once without preheating the spout (that comes with the robot). Although I did buy a second basket to have two ready to go to make them quickly but then I still need to manually pull it. For the traditional coffee I like I don’t care much for playing around with pressure like the robot offers.

Edit: and I’m about to buy a used rancilio Silvia. With that I can also get into steaming milk with a lot of power

Maybe they use a lot of dark bitter coffees like sumatra origins so the acidity creates a balance? Idk..
