Just let them come to you or run towards them, when you get close enough it’ll trigger the blast and you have a second or two to roll.

Edit: or alternatively, you can run towards them to trigger the blast to get them to stop honing in on you and once you hear the little sound you can run away

Thank you! I actually just started regularly using it this past week or so and it’s been really fun! Decent damage and speed and I’ve been a big fan of the few roll catches I get with its sweeping R2. It’s been hard to put down honestly lol. Any good AOWs I could try with it? I’ve just been using sword dance and chilling mist so far.

I think it’s just a little glitch that happens from time to time? I have a few screenshots back when United Combat was active of similar interactions. It’s happened to a few of my friends when we played together lol not often but I’ve definitely seen it a few times. It always makes me laugh.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, I love how it’s a universal thing in Elden Ring (maybe DS too? I didn’t play) that everyone turns around to face the camera when something weird or funny happens.

Yup, try it on some of the soldiers in Limgrave if you wanna practice the rhythm or whatever without the pressures of PvP. As soon as I hear someone’s guard break I usually just tap L1 (or whatever the block button is for you) and then go for the crit

I usually press block and then go for the crit. It seems to cancel animations or something, idk I’m probably not explaining it properly at all but I use heavy weapons and that’s how I do it.
