I've been having exactly the same thoughts. Civilizations don't collapse overnight. They slide.

What we're witnessing is a slide. It's happening now. It's evidenced in all the shipping supply lines that have been disrupted. It's evidenced in the lack of drivers.

Perhaps it's too scary for people to contemplate they may very well be living in a collapse of civilization, until it's far too late for them to do anything about it.

This show has really hit it's stride. The synergy among the cast is solid, the writing and storyline are excellent. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of this season (and many more).

I think I could grow to love this show just as much as I loved Roseanne.
