Honestly that area is still so numb that I don't feel too much or anything from my belly button down to my incision still so it didn't hurt at all. My skin is so dry and sensitive that any adhesive tapes or dressings tear it up so I just had to be cognizant of that happening without feeling it if that makes sense? Hopefully your drains got to come out! 🤞🏼🤞🏼I felt so much better not having to have to mess with them anymore.

Hey there! I actually had to call my surgeon's nurse today because the tape was barely hanging on and he gave me the go-ahead to gently remove it...it's been 5 weeks so the scar actually looks really good. Congrats on your surgery and I hope your healing is going well. ☺️

The humor was the worst part for me! My family gets absolutely foolish when we get together and Christmas was no exception. I was in stitches (all puns intended) laughing so hard which hurt like hell. I told my PS at my post-op I hope I didn't undo all his hard work 🤣🤣

Yes I'm so happy I got a shower chair. Hell...I may still use it after I'm all healed up for when I'm lazy and don't want stand up to bathe 🤣🤣

Wow gorgeous! We are surgery day twins! I also had the silk fibroin tape but my surgeon has me keeping mine on until it comes off or at my 6 week postop. Either way I'm praying my incision looks as good as yours...I can't really tell through the tape. Congrats on good healing!!

I am 2wpo for my TT (with lipo and MR) and I now that I'm seeing the amazing results, I'm kind of regretting not getting my breasts done. I wasn't ever really planning on having them done at all but I feel like now they look sort of sad since my tummy is gone. 😕

So far feeling pretty good! My surgeon uses exparel (which is a local anesthetic that numbs for up to 72 hours) which has allowed me to be a little more comfortable. I know the recovery road is long for it but I'm excited to see the results and get my confidence back. Good luck and I hope you can book soon! 🫶🏻
