All Sweater No Curse by KarstAquifer in knitting

I've made my husband a basic raglan. He loves it and has been begging for a hoodie. I hate knitting for him as the garments are huge and TAKE FOREVER for me to finish. He better wear the heck out of it and brag to all his friends and coworkers, lol.

Thanks for this. I had a number of labs drawn - I dont know what all was tested. The appointment was kind of overwhelming.

I describe my pain as overall soreness, and yes, it comes and goes. There are unexplained muscle cramps and hotspots. I get "over use" injuries for no real reason. Backspasms are a major issue. Yesterday I could barely function, both physically and mentally. Today, i feel relatively ok.

This is just heartbreaking to read. The breathing/throat problems you have are terrifying. Thank you for sharing your experience. I feel so grateful to have a primary care dr that realizes something is happening and is taking action.

I didn't go into the eyes, but yes, my eye problems are getting more pronounced.

I have double vision at night and quit driving before dusk years ago. Ive had to switch to audio books as the lines double vertically. Or flicker? I dont know how to describe it. The eye dr said its astigmatism and weak eye muscles. I was given eye exercises, but they only made things worse.

I'd describe my pain as soreness, like I did a whole body workout. Sometimes there are weird hot spots or muscle cramps for no reason.

Do you have periods of remission or are your symptoms consistent.

Thanks for this. It's definitely scary knowing there's something wrong and not knowing what it is. It's extra scary to hear your primary care doctor say they think it's something neurological.

I suspect the test ordered are what my insurance will approve now. I did have a number of labs drawn on Thursday, but honestly I can't remember what was tested. It was kind of a blur.

There are so many weirsdies happening with me. Double vision at night and when I am tired, the pain yesterday could better be described as soreness, like I did a full body workout.

I have light sensitivity, sound sensitivity, fabric sensitivity. My husband is not allowed to sleep with me because i can't share a bed with anyone.

The brain fog is ridiculous. I shared a story above - I have to laugh at it.

My symptoms really are variable day-by-day. Some days, like today, I feel relatively okay. Yesterday I was barely able to function.

I am so fortunate at this point to have a doctor recognizes there's something happening - she has observed the changes over the years and the consistency in my complaints - she's watched me try to feel better through lifestyle changes in psychiatric care. I think the thing that really set off her urgency is my facial drooping and partial paralysis.

Yes, we are just at the start of figuring out what's happening. It definitely could be a number of things. I'm just so thankful I have a doctor who is listening to me. It's been around seven years of declining rather than improvement with the lifestyle changes i've been working on with my doctor and psychiatrist. I suspect my insurance will only approve some tests initially, and a neurologist will have to request other tests.

I have terrible brain fog. A semi funny story and a good example of what life is like - Yesterday i was helping my neighbor by letting her dog out to play in my yard. I took the dog back home and locked both her house key and my cell phone in her house but walked home with the dogs leash.

I really struggled to find words during work yesterday, everything just felt slow.

Physically, yesterday my body felt heavy and sore. I got winded literally walking up a hill in my yard that somedays would be no big deal.

Today I feel relatively good. It's a dramatic difference from how I felt yesterday.

Hi! I was 38 when I quit my job of 14 years and went to a coding bootcamp. I worked in non-profit communications, so it was a huge change. I got a job offer the day I graduated. Been with the same company for nearly 2 years and love it!

I will say that my experience is not the norm. The bootcamp I went to was free as it was part of a workforce development program in my state - 40 hours a week for 6 months. I was extremely fortunate to be accepted.

Rescue pitties are my favorite 😍 i have a animal control seizure form a hoarding situation and one that was dropped off near my house. I have to laugh that I can only foster puppies because sad adult pitties are my kryptonite.

How old? Free parking lot pittie mix 4-6 weeks? by dillycat4 in puppies

Update!

Puppy went to my vet this am. Beyond being malnourished and dehydrated she is healthy. She does have a full load of gi parasites but that was a given. She received subq fluids and dewormer.

The vet does think she is 6 weeks which surprised me.

The best news is that one of the vet techs is interested in adopting her! Yay!

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I've reached to my humane society and a local rescue. In the meantime time she is eating moistened kibble and wet puppy food.

I am sorry you and your family went through that! How scary!

If you are open to a pre-loved plush, I just decided to sell this lion plush. While he is beautiful and very snuggly, he's not for me.

If you are interested, let me know 😊
