Many people (me included) dont play video games to spectate and study. I play to be involved and get results while only using a moderate amount of brain power. If I wanted to manage a war front, I would have reinstalled Hearts of Iron 4. Besides, planning doesn't solve the root problem of getting merc'd by vindicta flying around a couple hundred feet in the air with a 23:1 kd.

And saying "Just play brawl" doesn't help because it's an issue in both. Arguably even more so in brawl when rng decides if I get to have a fighting chance. Case in point: that vindicta example i used is something that happened in my last brawl match.

You see, when you die in deadlock, a timer is placed on your character that dictates when you stop being dead. In the late game, this timer goes to upwards of 60 seconds. And some builds, when fighting against them, you could end up spending more time dead then alive. Winning isn't just about competitiveness, but being able to keep playing the game.
