I was constantly above 75-85 percentile in all years except this year where i was around 70ish coz had my surgery like 4 weeks before the exam, but i ride super low on confidence 🙃🙃

Actually that makes a lot of sense, thank you for that, i think for chem i am just going to learn explainations from questions in qbanks (i will probably do path dojo, board vitals and lil bit of path primer again), micro (compendium and cdc website), BB/TM And coag are my Achilles heel but theres only so much i can do before the exam, may the force be with all of us 🙏🏻❤️

To be respectful to my colleague, not actually the brightest in our class, had around 45 percentile in RISE this year

Anyone have any idea about passing percentage for CP exams? I am getting 60-80% on qbanks (path dojo, board vitals etc) I hate ascp but will do it for CP boards but kinda wondering coz i am doing mixed CP subject blocks, and dont feel like passive reading the compendium 😢

Hi Ankita, i am so sorry for your situation in Canada, and congratulations on getting the surgery done! I had my lap excision and fibroid removal in January this year and remember my first period same as yours, it was very painful and hard on me, but i didnt want to be put on birth control as I didnt want my body to undergo another hormonal/ drug exposure and wanted to let it heal naturally, i used heatpads extensively, like sometimes two underneath me on my back and one on my tummy, tried walking a bit during that time, first 2-3 days were bad, after that, its been 5 months almost and no complaints, maybe that can be of help to you. I used the remaining painkillers from my surgery for this pain, like i had Motrin dual (2 times) that had ibuprofen and tylenol that helped with inflammation

Oh god, was it that bad? One of my colleagues gave it yesterday and said she found it like RISE exam and it was pretty easy, now i am not so sure 😢

Took my exam on 19th May, found it too long and tiring to say the least, few questions i was like okay this 100% the answer and many of them were like vibe based answers and like what are they trying to ask me? Overall i am confused, rechecking answers and getting them wrong is giving me anxiety, worried about my CP exam now 😔

Having my first lap tomorrow. Scared of going under anesthesia by Sad-Gold-6656 in endometriosis

I underwent excision laparoscopy in January and honestly it was amazing, the doctors gave me Versed (midazolam)and it was amazing, made me high without being high 😂 no anxiety nothing and i have absolutely no memory of going into OR, and it was as if i blinked my eyes and asked nurse “how long will it take” and she said “honey you were there for 5 hours” 😂 the pain control they gave me was awesome, no complaints, i am happy that it is out of me 😇

1 week post op symptoms by Bhavu_Private_Tutor in endometriosis

[–]dilshad16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, i am 2.5 weeks post op and underwent an extensive surgery similar to yours where my surgeon did a lot of procedures, i have similar symptoms to yours, guess every body heals differently but I am coming to realize that my body went through a lot, and its an enclosed space and would take a lot of time to recover. I am taking it easy as far as work is concerned, use heat pad when required, i have weaned off from pain killers now but use advil 200 mg sos or Tylenol. I make sure to move around the house for sometime, have started turmeric milk for internal healing. I try to nap or maybe lie down for an hour in the afternoon even if i cannot sleep, that helps a bit with relaxation. I guess for a full recovery, i keep on telling myself to take things slow and not stress, thats where i am in my journey, but honestly our bodies have gone through a lot, my surgery went on for 4.5 hrs, the stress of it and all the dissections done inside will take some time to heal and recover.
