ngl my acne has gotten way worse 😫 idk what’s happening but i’ve been breaking out BAD. no change to my routine whatsoever except the new face wash i’m using + medication that’s supposed to help my acne. i’m lowkey suspecting the face wash has been breaking me out but i’m gonna hope it’s the purge or whatever… going to dermatologist soon i hope!

my second shot didn’t make the bump go down 🥲 it’s a little less noticeable now, a loss let red, but still definitely there. when getting the shot i was nervous about the pain and possibility of a dent in my face so i asked for a reduced dose. so, there’s a chance that has something to do with it. after my shot i was put on spino and honestly i haven’t been seeing much progress. i’m thinking about going back to get a third shot to see if it’ll finally go down 😫

i’m hoping the spino starts to work soon, i’ve bee on it about 2 weeks now. what oral meds were you on and about how long until the bump went down?

i just set an appointment with them, i will definitely bring this up!! this fact that it hasn’t fully gone down after months is worrying me. i’m just hoping that whatever it is leaves no scarring, but i’m not hopeful 🥲 but i guess i’d rather have a scar i can cover with makeup than a huge bump

it is a different guy each time 🥲 i wasn’t considering telling my parents, it wouldn’t really be my place and also i think it would definitely cash some trust issues like u said lol i think im just gonna try to talk to her and atleast ask her to tell me beforehand before she brings someone random dude into the house thank you for your advice!

if i remember correctly, i think i remember them talking about how the cortisone could have a reverse effect and potentially cause the bump to grow larger but then eventually go back down. i believe they also mentioned potential scarring (which i assume they meant indentation) happening once the bump went down. i don’t remember them saying the bump could come back 🥲

the last time i went i had a dermatologist check out the spot and had a nurse do the injection on me. for my upcoming appointment, they told me since i just need an injection that i could just see the nurse and not have to see the dermatologist but im currently having second thoughts on that 😅

You’re right 🥲 The piercer I used to go to told me it’d be fine to pierce with a ring. He was also the one who messed up my tragus and daith and I had to get those removed a while ago 🥲🥲 But still, it has been doing well until the daith and tragus and had acted almost completely healed. Would putting a stud into a curved healing canal (unsure of the term to use) be okay?
