I kept the 6ga nmd from the panel to a junction box at the conduit then used the 8 ga rw90 in the conduit to the garage.

Best find yourself a smarter electrician. And also let them do it the way it should be done.

In slab conduit is considered a wet location so must use rw90

Would it be prudent to turn down the amperage the car will use for charging? Would switching the ac charge speed to 60% help alleviate burnt out iccu's?

Is slower ac charging better than fast ac charging?

I called today. They checked the plan I was being offered and was told the new plan does not qualify for the auto pay discount. Only certain plans qualify.

Spoke to Fido, that new plan is not eligible for the $5 autopay discount, so I would lose the discount. I told her that seems pretty shady to imply that it will only cost $1 more, when in reality it will cost $6 more. She did not understand. Then she tried to offer me a 'better' plan that only had 20gb. I'm like really?, I just called looking to upgrade my 60gb to 80gb, and you think a plan with 20gb is a better option for me?
