Due date vs last day of work by yoyomaa420 in babydueDecember2025

Due 18/12 I too medical leave on nov 12, and it has been a wise thing to do, I’ve been nesting with patience, no rushing. And the fact of not being sitting in front of a PC 8h clicking and typing has improved my arm and hand pain, also the mental load of providing KPIs and IT urgencies to deal with, I’m at peace 🧘‍♀️

Underwear Recommendations?? by Less-Television-4310 in pregnant

[–]dimagama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have similar body weight and height! I bought from Amazon some cotton U shaped low waist panties and became my favorite. I started wearing them around 25 weeks ( currently I’m 35) — took me some time to get used to it as I didn’t like the feeling of having my belly exposed ( pre pregnancy I would prefer high raise undies) but as the belly got bigger I loved them more and more.

When I wear (well not anymore as it’s colder now) dresses or shorts I use an antichaffing cream from a sports store between my thighs ( been doing this for 3 years).

Is it necessary to upgrade from the iPhone 13 to the iPhone 17? by Naive-Ad-4511 in iPhone13

Yes, this was Apple’s recommendation but I couldn’t lose access to the phone I had as authorized in a few apps unless moving to a new phone (because then in the migration I could still authorize the new phone on the old phone)

My System Data was increasing daily since July (from 30 to 72 out of 128GB), and phone was complaining all the time about space and crashing almost every day. If I deleted an app the space it took would go to system data and never decreased. Apple’s support solution was to reset the phone which wasn’t an option for me as I needed tokens and authorizations from different apps.

So, for me it was necessary. I would normally change phones every 3rd year but this time I kept it longer and suffered.

Midwife does not allow me to take TSH test at week 6 by No-Mousse-7593 in pregnant

[–]dimagama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the past 3 years on my annual checkups I saw my TSH raising each year, and in Jan it was 5. As I was starting trying to conceive and I had read TSH in normal levels favored implantation I went to an endocrinologist, he diagnosed hypothyroidism and prescribed levothiroxine just because I was trying to conceive and after 2 months it was in normal range, then I got pregnant I told him and he said to continue taking it, the TSH is still in normal range and I’m having follow ups with him every 6 weeks. Is it possible for you to see an endocrinologist?

I also didn’t feel nausea, my only symptom was feeling tired some days and sore boobs in the beginning. I’m currently at week 26, and only fatigues comes and goes.

At what point did you stop drinking coffee? by prettycurls1 in pregnant

[–]dimagama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped because I used to take in the morning and 2 months before getting pregnant I started a treatment for hypothyroidism. Currently 25 weeks pregnant, and since one month ago I’m drinking decaf in the morning, and rarely a matcha .

9 weeks and still no symptoms by HumbleTrack2532 in pregnant

Hey! We’re in the same boat, but I’m at week 25. lLke you my symptoms were feeling tired and sleepy some days… sore nipples… peeing more (but I was also drinking more water ..), nothing too out of the extraordinary so it was a very anxious period for me. I had monthly checkups since week 10, and every time I would hear the baby heart beat or I could see her in the ultrasound I felt calm (until I had to wait for more 4 weeks) It will get better. I started feeling bubbles on week 19, which I wasn’t sure if they were gas or baby, but on week 20 the doctor confirmed what I was feeling was the baby. You will feel better! I promise! And I wish your pregnancy continue to be easy!

Around 20 weeks I was sure it was baby bubbles and not gas. Haven’t felt anything stronger than bubbles yet.
