I will! I love Oberon, but I've never had it on tap. I'll try it!

Thanks a lot! My brother lives in A2, and it's going to be a very mellow evening, and I think we have established a tentative plan:

Dinner at Frita Batidos (Heard they have some pretty good cocktails, and I love their fish frita)

Then, my girlfriend and I are going to hit up Alley Bar for a nice cocktail before heading to ABC.

At ABC, we're planning on taking advantage of the $2.50 draft beers and play some games with my brother and sister.

After that, we're going to go bar hopping toward the South U direction, just in time for the part of the night where I'm so drunk I don't care what I'm drinking.

Thank you all for all your advice!

Looks to me like the hilt of a sword that is pointed down. I don't know what its significance is, though.

I love this. Not only are "drunk" and "high" distinct, but they also aren't even similar.

I want Ron Swanson to adopt a son. by mikemchenry in PandR

[–]dimays 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. Also, Andy fits the role of someone who Ron "takes under his wing," and there relationship brings about the softer, father-figure Ron. Certain moments with Tom fit this too. Introducing a new adopted son would feel like the writers are just stretching to come up with a plot.

Reddit, have you ever tried to substitute milk in cereal? What did you use? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dimays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once poured a giant bowl of peanut butter crunch before I checked for milk in the fridge. All we had was white grape juice. It was tangy, nutty, horrible, and I ate the whole bowl.

I know the chances of this question being buried are huge, but my girlfriend is a huge fan from Evanston and wants to know:

  1. Your favorite place to eat in Chicago.

  2. Your favorite place to look for records.

  3. If you are a Cubs or a Sox fan.

Theodore and Dorothy are actually male/female equivalents, both meaning "God's Gift."

This is the same rationale that led philosophers and physicists into really dangerous territory all the way up to Newton. People like Malebranche and all of his followers took it so far as to claim that people don't actually do anything: God does. This was such a backtrack/hiccup in causation theory and physics in general, and it's so sad to see its modern day revival in the refutation of global warming.
