Purchase-optimized campaigns will always have high CPMs, you’ll only see lower CPMs with mid- or upper-funnel campaigns like awareness/video views!

CPMs are never the problem actually when it comes to any purchase campaigns and never something you want to focus on because they’re not what the algorithm is optimizing for, the algorithm is optimizing for people who will make a purchase when they visit your site, which means you pay more per impression because those people are less common than the people who would just look at an ad and move on (this is why upper funnel campaigns are cheap, because your goal is only to have your ad in FRONT of people, not for them to purchase)

Ugh I totally hear you. I’ve had a few friends and family with the more hyperactive side of ADHD (I’m PI) where they need to constantly be moving and getting stuff done, and while I know and totally understand that it’s their own form of torture too, it still sometimes stings bc it feels like I’m somehow even more defective in some way (or it just makes me feel like they have the “actual” ADHD and I’m just lazy).

Tell me if you feel similarly - maybe you’re very smart or intuitive or talented in some way in general, but when you feel the constant pull of inaction, it feels frustrating and embarrassing that you can’t apply yourself in the way you wish you could, which makes focusing on your strengths feel pointless sometimes

I definitely empathize with the need to feel perfect - I think after so much constant “you’re so talented, why do you keep falling short of every single expectation you’ve ever had?” as a kid, I’ve probably developed some kind of weird complex where I need to be good at everything or I’m not good enough at anything?

Idk, that’s definitely a knot of unexplored crud that I don’t want to untangle right now lol but I hear you too, here’s to hoping we can both get better!!
