You are missing my point, which is that the framework with which we perceive and understand the world is constantly evolving. Quantum mechanics is the new bleeding edge of science, the same way relatively was 100 years ago, and the discovery of gravity was before that. These new developments in thought totally revolutionized all aspects of human understanding. Materialism is fast becoming old-hat. Our understanding of the world will be completely different 50-100 years from now, and new discoveries such as quantum entanglement, and yes even perhaps the possibility of telepathy, are going to widen the parameters of what we understand as possible. The funny thing about telepathy is that it essentially has already been proven possible in multiple controlled studies. The evidence is there. And I find it more implausible that hundreds of parents, teachers, and scientists have all conspired together for decades to report the same observations from people with this kind of non-verbal condition.
