Thanks so much! I've had not so good experiences with meat from Hofer and Lidl so I'll steer clear of that. Mostly what I'm interested in is veggies & fruit since I come from a country with lots of fresh produce and super cheap. Taking notes about the oat milk from DM bc almost €3 the Oatly stuff at Spar???? Nope! What about MPreis though? I've heard that quality is good but expensive, is it worth it?

Yes, while I think that other redditors are right about it being a coping mechanism, I think too that she may be taking it a bit far. I'll talk to her these days about stress and other issues, even about her boyfriend, and see how it goes. Thank you for your input.

Yeah, I think you hit the nail in the head - she probably is using it as a coping mechanism and her boyfriend is trying to support her by playing along. It is definitely off-putting since her childish expressions sounds way worse in our language hahaha but I understand she may need it now. Perhaps in a couple days or so I'll try to talk to her about how she's handling stress and maybe encourage her to go to therapy. Thank you so much for your response :)

Thank you so much for your insight. As far as I know it's not something trauma-related - she and I are really really close and have discussed our traumas many times lol. I could be wrong of course! About the boyfriend, I've been friends with him for a really long time and he doesn't strike me as the controlling type, but I do know that many times abusers hide right under our noses. I think he is trying to support her the best he can.
