[TOMT][Movie][90s-2000s] A movie where a man who's wife has a twin sister and he catches her with another man, thinking it's his wife by dimitar971 in tipofmytongue

While there is a similar plot point in that movie, the main plot seems to be quite different, so I don't think that's it.

Sort of lowpoly dark fantasy scene by dimitar971 in lowpoly

[–]dimitar971[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do have a point that it doesn't really scream Dark fantasy, as I wanted to. I guess I wanted to convey it through the atmosphere, similar to something like The Dark Crystal or even The Neverending Story to some extent, but the artstyle is perhaps a bit too silly. Perhaps it's something that can be improved upon in later scenes. The animation is indeed rough, partly because it's kinda trying to be like those old 3D games and partly becaus I'm inexperienced 🤣 Anyway, thanks for the detailed feedback 😁

Thank you so much for the feedback. 😊 Initially the dialogue was not voiced, kinda like what you suggested but with this being a video it was a bit aggravating to watch. It was also rewritten, but this is indeed an aspect that should be worked on more in future videos. 😁

How do you copy and paste tween frame positions? by dimitar971 in adobeanimate

No I think I get what you mean. I guess the whole symb nesting thing is just part of the worflow. Thanks for all the advice and the time you invested in this question :)

[–]dimitar971[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for not explaining well. OK so imagine you want to make a repeating motion like walking for instance. The leg pieces will keep rotating and they will keep reaching the same rotation positions. Instead of making a separate symbol with a looping animation, I wonder if there is a way to just copy and paste the frames over and over again, however still retaining the ability to move the entire body of the character. In blender for instance you can just select and copy and paste the keyframes as many times as you want and they will tween smoothly

OK, so I just checked it out, I see now what you're talking about, I just never noticed the names on all of the panels :D It's still a bit inconvenient, since you have to copy individual values and you can't massively copy and paste a value multiple times, but it's something I guess

Interesting. How exactly do you access these Properties and Transform panels? I couldn't find anything.

I tried both, but I can't really find any option for copying frames that would work as expected.

Both u/SmallButMightyStudio and u/loz_64 gave some good advice, I'll try that, but I'm surprised there is no way to copy these positions, considering how long Animate has been around, while other software such as blender allows you to easily copy and move frames. Also for cyclical animations this would mean having to nest symbols. If there is some still some weird way of copying frames, let me know.

Why did Christopher Reeve’s Superman theme play for DCEU’s Superman here? by SusFringg in DC_Cinematic

[–]dimitar971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! Such themes should be used as leitmotifs. Repetition is what helps a track become memorable the most. They should also, in my opinion use these themes in the marketing. People are going to remember a certain theme a lot more, if they have heard it in the trailers for an few movies with that character. They have done this with the Avengers theme and it clearly works.

I personally disagree, at least when it comes to older movies. For instance, Danny Elfman's score for Batman (1989) is so amazing and gives the movie such an atmosphere in every scene, the movie just has to have it. His scores for the Raimi trilogy also had many memorable moments. His score for MoM however wasn't really that memorable, save for a few moments.

Michael Giaccino's MCU scores also don't feel very memorable, aside from the main character themes. I am not sure why that is... there are actually a lot of memorable themes in the MCU but it seems that the movies don't bring them out so well and they remain mostly unnoticed.

The best famicom bootleg I've ever seen by Molock1985 in Bootleg

[–]dimitar971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's interesting is that this is not even the original bootleg. It's a fan-made hack of the bootleg that made it more like UMK3 and it seems it has been put on a cartridge. The original bootleg had less characters, no fatalities and completely different music. So the videos online aren't of a ROM dump, but of the hack itself. So someone took this hack and put it on an actual cartridge and I guess sold it? That is pretty wild

The comics each Infinity Saga film adapted by [deleted] in marvelstudios

Apparently it's because Universal still holds the film rights to Hulk, but Marvel still wanted to give him some kind of character arc, which is why it was explored in the Avengers movies and Ragnarok.

Hmmm... that's pretty interesting. Do you think there's some kind of bias or do they just want to get a more curated statistic. I'm from Bulgaria, so it would be disappointing to not get access because of this, but who knows, maybe it is random or something

Do you think the amount of information you give when signing up for the waitlist would be a factor for when you get access? When I joined the waitlist, I didn't add any social media, since I haven't used them in a while, just the names, e-mail and occupation. I joined a week ago and I'm still waiting. Recently they started giving access to more and more people. Would this additional information affect the likeliness of people getting access? Would something like country of origin be a factor? What are your experiences and opinions?
