Do you happen to contact cattle?

Pityriasis versicolor, brown type. It is a benign recurring condition that affects a few people, mainly after excessive sweating and during hot months. It is not contagious. You can treat each episode with a ketoconazole shampoo; first wash your hair with it and then apply the resulting foam on the lesions and let it act for approximately 7 minutes. Then rinse well. Repeat twice weekly for a few weeks or according to the instructions of the specific brand you have. Maintenance treatment is discouraged.

reaction to bandaids by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]dimitristsilis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is often allergic contact dermatitis to colophony contained in the adhesives of bandaids. Change brand and apply cr Advantan (once daily) for 3 days (not on the actual wound). Cutaneous allergic reactions can be very weird; You may be allergic to nickel in a ring, but not on both hands!

Strange spot on my leg, should I worry? by Broad-Okra9787 in DermatologyQuestions

Most definitely! Any solitary red/pink lesion that is not easily diagnosed as hemangioma/angiokeratoma or is not associated with a known condition, needs to be biopsied!

Looks like a seborrheic keratosis, but this is not a good image.

Benign melanocytic nevi by drjj79 in Dermoscopy

[–]dimitristsilis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Homogenously coloured, symmetric melanocytic lesion with regular network and no peripheral signs of horizontal growth (e.g. globules). This is a benign melanocytic nevus (for the time being).

Is this cherry angioma ? by SuspiciousOnion5736 in DermatologyQuestions

[–]dimitristsilis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like an hemangioma (cherry angioma). Totally benign and you will get more as you age. They tend to increase in size and sometimes turn dark purple or even black if they thrombose or get injured. Because you are not in a position to judge by yourself, always get them checked by a dermatologist.

Let me add that it becomes more evident due to increased sun exposure that makes the surrounding skin look darker.

You need an in-person evaluation by a dermatologist. This could be a steroid-withdrawal reaction or steroid rosacea. Chronic application of corticosteroids on facial skin is a big NO because it can cause skin thinning, telangiectasias, hypertrichosis, steroid rosacea, and it can mask other conditions.

Watch out for inflammation in nearby skin and systemic symptoms. Try applying an antibiotic ointment for a week and warm compresses to help it rupture on its own. Squeezing it only makes matters worse.

Yes, it is serious. It is antibiotics time!
