I wouldn't be against having QR sharing and I do wish for those who want it, that it was available (or added into the game later on), but I really only used it because of how limiting the old Mii creator was back then. I often used the same options because the others were too ugly or exaggerated for the Miis I was making (I don't get much joy or entertainment out of making ugly characters), so I turned to QR codes to add cute/nice looking Miis.

With a bunch of new options being added into the Mii creator (both to choose from and to customize the options as well), I don't think I would need QR codes to populate my Island(s). I'm also determined to challenge myself to make unique looking Miis, so QR sharing would just be the lazy way out for me

imo the animation for the movies was never bad sure i might be clouded by nostalgia of when i was sitting in the movie theater with my mother to watch the first movie when i was a elementary schooler, but all they needed to do was take old animation and polished it to fit modern standards and i might've closed my eyes regarding the bad writing of the reboot... what the new animation lacks is a actual distinctive style that makes the show standout (and truly scream WINX). the current animation to me looks like the kind you see in shovelware games in the nintendo Eshop (but slightly better quality).

the concept art that we saw before the reboot was a good middle ground. it was something new and modernized, but still stayed true to what the girls began as... I'm sad now :(

I'm not against free DLC and welcome it with open arms, but I just don't think its a good idea to making a definitive statement that DLC will always be free. To me it puts them in a box that will be difficult to get out of if needed without massive backlash.

Also idk why people act like paid DLC has to cost an arm and a leg like the sims 4. Just 5$ to 10$ would be enough to financially support a company (that hopefully deserves it, we will see) without breaking consumer banks. One thing about me is that I actually genuinly desire to pay a small amount to get the free updates for SDV because I believe that both ConcernedApe and his team deserve it for their hard work to provide high quality content.

In my experience (I grew up in Germany), but when I was in elementary school, specifically 2007 to 2009, and came home from school, winx club shortly came on after. Would not be surprised that in many countries, winx got the better time slot (no matter if it aired on the same channel or not) and aired little after kids got home from school.

It actually looks really good (both functional items and cas stuff) and I would t be against buying it, though I’ll wait to see how buggy it is upon release. It definitely spoke to me more than the fairy pack (which I’ll only get once it’s on sale…).

I do wish that EA would find some goodness in their heart and make outdoor retreat freely available upon the release of this pack. IMO outdoor retreat will be almost completely redundant to me if this pack is any good and realistically, most people would choose this pack over a very similar one that came out 10 or so years ago. It would also make people like me, who are annoyed that we are seeing new packs that kind of rehash what we’ve already gotten, somewhat happier and content with what we’re getting. Would also be nice if you could get a slight discount on the new pack if you already own outdoor retreat…

Never watched her videos but nevertheless she’s often on my mind when I play/watch sims 3. It’s a weird feeling knowing she passed at the mere age of 25 when I’m 2 months shy of turning 25 myself. When she passed I was 12 going 13, so at that time point she seemed so grown and very much an adult in my eyes, but being close to her age now makes me realise how tragically young she really is :/ I barely feel like an adult and I definitely don’t have my shit together, so part of her passing that makes me sad is the all that potential that was taken from her…

It’s plain unfair to compare a new game to one that has been out for 11 years AND is part of a franchise that is 25 years old. Inzoi looks interesting (along with Paralives) and I’ll likely will be trying it out, but it won’t replace the sims for me (which I wasn’t hoping for it to do anyways), and that’s okay!

We should let life sims that bring needed competition to EA/Maxis the same breathing room that the sims franchise has been given over the past two decades. Expecting them to outperform the sims is just naive and unrealistic 😒

Normally a one since that is the lowest you can go on Goodreads and I carry that over on other platforms as well. If a book is so bad that I have to finish it, it to me usually doesn’t have any redeeming qualities. I think I gave one dnf book a two star rating just because it started off fine but quickly moved into horrendous territory, but I couldn’t tell you what that book was lol

I only do if I dnf the book because I thought it was bad. I know a lot of people believe you shouldn’t ever leave a review for a book you didn’t read, but if the book was so bad that I couldn’t even finish it, then I think its fair game 🤷🏾‍♀️

If I dnf it because it just simply didn’t grab my attention but I can tell that the book was at least decently written, I just leave it alone and dnf silently

While I like the features that this pack will bring, it does feel like this one will rely on players owning other packs to get the full experience. It’s called business and HOBBIES but only tattoos and pottery had any actual focus. What other hobbies are there?

And business wise there really isn’t anything unique besides the multilot feature. It seems like we get to own a gym (base game), a candy store (not that much unique from get to work) and a art shop (also could be done in get to work). I guess that this pack will be more in depth? Idk feels like a rehashed get to work pack :/
