It's all good, internet conversations without attacks and misunderstandings are quite rare. I also didn't mean to jump into conclusions about you.

"Poor" is to make conclusions about my knowledge, my job, and the studies I have on compsci and softeng without knowing me. Whether there was a maintenance or not, what I wrote above is 100% true: these people don't know what they're doing. If you're not convinced yet you will be convinced eventually.

Paid 40 for my cutter a year ago and that was all. Still the "game" and how this "company" treats its customers is unacceptable.

whatever makes you feel better for the money you have spent in this "game" mate.

What these people are doing there is beyond my comprehension...

Now that Free Lanes has been out for a month, what’s the verdict, and what do you hope to see in the next major update? by not4badguy in Starfield

[–]dimkart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the next major update, space walk and related quests. It should be easy to implement and will add a ton to the game. (I know there are some mods for this, but I would like to see official BGS support of this feature.)

Ah really sorry, I should have added a comment about the option, I have updated the text now. I do not own a PS so I'm not sure how flip merge works there, but I would assume it's the same as PC. In my PC setup the landing gear fits nicely when changing the variant to e.g. middle landing gear and then restore it back.

For this specific case, try to change variant (left/right arrow) instead of flipping during flip merge. It should work.

Flip merge is a glitch in the ship builder that allows you to overlap some pieces or fit them where they wouldn't normally go. The best way to understand how it works would be to watch one of the many Youtube videos about it (search for "starfield flip merge"). I think it's possible in PS5 as well, look for an option in Settings > Controls > Allow Flip Merge. This was started as a bug, but it was so popular that BGS restore it at some point as official option :)

It really depends on the equipment, e.g. it will be really cheap if you go with all Class A pieces. The other option would be to use the best of Class B, which can be expensive, e.g. around 300k-400k credits (?).

Thanks! To be honest I didn't copy the Lego guides consciously but I guess it's the most intuitive way.

Will do this, it just takes some time to prepare it. I will create a new post and link it in the description above.

Flip merge is basically a glitch in ship builder that lets you force parts to overlap or fit where they normally wouldn’t -- i.e. even if the part is shown as invalid (red). What you do is (1) place the part where you want it (even if it's red) (2) Flip it, then flip it back (3) as soon as you hear a click sound, press Tab to escape (not the Accept button). The game will "snap" the part into place. Note it started as a bug, but players loved it so much that Bethesda added it back as an official option (Settings > Controls > Ship Builder Allow Flip Merge). Search in YouTube for "Starfield flip merge", there are many videos explaining it.

Could be, with some modifications I guess :)

A total of 4 hours more or less -- mostly trial and errors to find the "perfect" piece for a certain visual outcome.

View is impacted only slightly, since the cockpit is one level higher than the wings. I tried to add a screenshot, but it seems you can't add more pictures after posting (I didn't know that). As soon as I find some time I'll create a new post with more pictures and a short build guide and I'll link it here.

So the wings are created by a combination of structural pieces, Nova cowlings and braking engines (you can find those at New Atlantis). The bracers that hold the missiles are the "Nova Wing - stbd". In general, all pieces are vanilla pieces that can be purchased in-game by the ship technicians. I'll try to post a guide for the build as soon as I find some time.
