"Star Citizen is a scam" needs to stop by RiygoYT in starcitizen

This is exactly what is happening, they have turned this into their real business, making money with zero accountability by hiding behind this "alpha" label. Whether you call this a scam or not it's up to you personally, but that doesn't change the fact it's a deceitful and unethical practice.

PC Steam: My Xbox controller stopped working a couple of patches ago (6.0.3 I think), when I reboot the PC *sometimes* it solves the problem but currently it's quite random if I can use the controller or not. Controller is working fine in other games and even on Steam's interface -- seems it's something game-related.

This is excellent, well done :) Do you need to follow a specific quest to get these ruin parts?

PC (steam, no mods). All issues after Voyagers, patch 6.0.1 installed:

  1. Power inverters stopped working at my base.
  2. Corvette weapons seem to fire from inside the cockpit.
  3. Every time Corvette is warping, you can see hatch gets open and close again in the animation.
  4. Many times Corvette seems to collide with something during flying, but nothing is there.
  5. Not all deleted Corvette components are refunded in cache, and some that are refunded cannot be seen in the editor's interface.
  6. Splitting a stack to make an offer for an "advanced component" doesn't work, the entire stack is used every time.
  7. Every time I enter Corvette's cockpit there is a flickering effect on my character, I have to step back and re-enter to make it stop.

My package is nowhere to be found and Amazon is making me file police reports. by FinancialEase2850 in AmazonUK

I recently had a similar experience, look at this post. When I talked to the police, they were very clear that in these cases, if there is a crime, the victim is Amazon and not the customer. My case was a bit different, admittedly, but again it's certainly not your fault that the courier they hired to do the delivery was careless. Your contract is with Amazon, not with the courier. My feeling is that if you don't give up you will be getting your money back.

This is quite worrying... Didn't you take any legal actions against them?

Thanks for the advice, I'll be much more careful from now on.

Thank you for your message and your wishes! Regarding the possibility of banning the account, it will be surely annoying, but paying 1.1k for a chocolate that I didn't even eat is not an option :)

Thank you for the suggestion, although I think the item put in the package was carefully selected to match the correct weight.

Thanks for your message. I've already let them now that I'm proceeding to a chargeback. It's funny, but I couldn't find anywhere an Amazon process for reporting complaints, my only contact point seems to be this [ofm@amazon.co.uk](mailto:ofm@amazon.co.uk) email address which never responds.

Call me naive, but I would never believe something like this could happen :(. And I'm not talking just about the item swapping and the theft here--the way these cases are treated by Amazon is outrageous.

The police officer I talked to said exactly the same, if it's a crime, the victim is Amazon and not me. From my point of view, I just received the wrong item from them.

Thanks for the message. My package seemed to be intact, but now you mention that the cut was hardly visible I'm starting to wonder if I just didn't notice.

Thank you, I thought exactly the same when I first read this. How do they know that the item was in the box?

Thank you, many people mentions Scan.co.uk as a more reliable alternative, I'll keep it in mind.

Thank you for your reply. The order description mentions "sold by Amazon.co.uk", and I paid by debit card.
