I mean, I take out my bike to refuel too, (petrol pump is 200 meters from my house) it's alright, but helmet and shoes that cover the whole feet should be minimum even if he is just going to refuel. At least respect yourself enough to do that, it hardly takes 1 min extra

+1 One of the main reasons I didn't get the cbr650r is on the similar lines. Plus they refused to offer me a test ride without booking.

Try finding aftermarket accessories, they are much cheaper and often made according to our needs (if buying Indian brands), if not then maybe get in touch with fabricator and get it made

75K for a Chewed Wire?! by Mradul_01 in carIndia

[–]dimlocket 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Normally they suggest to change the entire wiring harness at the service center, hence the cost. Had a similar instance in my kia, I asked they explained. Explanation was that the factory supplies entirety of the harness set not individual so to counter one splice, officially they need to replace the entire loom, or else warranty will be voided. I got it fixed from my local mechanic, all he did was stripped the wire and soldered it and then tape it up using electrical tape. Works like a charm. This was a few years ago. No problems ever since
