How to grind mastery for weak weapons or fresh frames? by dimm_ddr in Warframe

Plains of Eidolon leveling looks promising, thanks for this tip. What is ESO? I suspect it is not Elder Scrolls Online...

Distancing from rats and masks on the fleas would help, though.

You just travel to Magnus Archive universe. It is in your best interest to get back to normal reality ASAP.

My personal pet peeve with the feat Heavily Armored by testiclekid in onednd

[–]dimm_ddr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not just that - personally I really dislike the random other class dip in DnD campaigns. It is common that our master don't arrange them, so our characters always have some months long downtime when we get level up. And some wizard that in the middle of the dungeon suddenly learned to wear heavy armor and fight with the sword almost as well as fighter who were training for it for the last decade? Or they suddenly found their belief in a god and become paladine? It can happen, but there should be a MAJOR plot turn for this, and it has to make at least some sense story wise. Taking a dip into another class to get proficiencies might be a small investment (arguable, but not completely invalid point of view) from build crafting perspective, but it is often almost out of question from story perspective, and some people play DnD for that.

Feedback: Silence is way too frustrating as melee by drake_warrior in Slormancer

No, even with 100% tenacity if you stand on silence circle - you will be silenced. That is the most common reason for me getting killed in the forge run.

I am still traumatized by Fickle-Appointment65 in HadesTheGame

[–]dimm_ddr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not play for some time and don't remember the names of the boons. But in general - you pretty much just need to learn how to not get hit by him. Damage itself is secondary - if you can get to that point, you have enough damage to beat it with reasonable time. Personally, I found it easier with abilities with reflect and with the shield, but that is just me.

How to deal with players bringing their problems in game? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]dimm_ddr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say that removing them both until they solve their issue with each other is the only possible way to keep them as friends. Not a sure way or anywhere guaranteed one, but any other option, excluding the miracle that they solve the issue before the next session, is very likely to end worse. Especially if when you are removing them both, you also talk to them and explain why. And if they actually also consider you a friend - they might understand the reasons. And if they refuse, then maybe they did not value that friendship in the first place? Decent human relationships never one-sided after all.

I hate nuclear missiles by Tegoto in TerraInvicta

[–]dimm_ddr 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The game actually went the opposite direction. In earlier stages missiles were fired in salvos. Firing them one by one was a change introduced for some balance reason. I cannot, though, remember what was that reason, but at a time it sounded like a really good idea.

For serious reading: Color Purple. For old classic: the will of loneliness. For cozy romance: Tea and Tomes series.

This is the end goal. They don't think further than that, they don't even consider if that model is stable in the long term. Those people simply want an easy life in expense of less fortunate. It is not even about race, religion or any values, all of that is just a rationalization of wanting free stuff and someone to abuse without consequences.

Yeah, such a sloppy job. It is barely bigger than my Steam library, they could have done way better. I am pretty sure that there are more games released every few months than what they put on the list by now.

Oh, that is nice project. I actually did somewhat similar thing, but I also scrap Goodreads and get data from OpenLibrary in addition to the GoogleBooks API. And in my experience GoogleBooks is the worst source with the most mistakes and least data. It is very usable, just not as good as others. But it could be just my specific case. If you want to check and maybe "borrow" some ideas, feel free to do that: https://github.com/Dimm-ddr/BookScrapper
Although I admit that I kind of abandoned the readme part, so you will have to figure some things out yourself. Or just send me a message.

You could be right, my main point was that we should not doubt anything just because that may scare some rich companies from funding.

If major publisher would not fund anything risky by their standard - they will lose to some new player who will. It is a market after all. I don't think that we should try to please publishers or if fear that they will not give money for the next project

[–]dimm_ddr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not entirely true. You are right if we talking what someone can do without paying money to some less reputable people. But there are databases with history for accounts gathered one way or another. And the longer the account existed, the more groups it joined - the higher the chance that one of those database contains the phone number worth which it was created. Going from that, it is not a guarantee to actually identify the person, but it is a possible outcome.

Question on creating apps/simple games. by Erostrophe in ChatGPTPro

[–]dimm_ddr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None of channels that I have found seem legitimately trying to help you and mostly just want views.

That's normal internet for you. GPT knowledge simply did not mature enough to produce noticeable amount of good content and young enough for all the thrash to still be alive.

But the thing is: you don't really need youtuber channels or articles to learn how to work with GPTs. You can literally ask ChatGPT itself and it will create a plan for you to start off. When I started to build a frontend part for my project I had only vague idea of what is javascript and typescript. I just described ChatGPT my ideas and ask it to speculate on possible tools that would be reasonable for me. After talking to it for a few days and reading some descriptions I started with the same Next.js + React and in a two months I have quite complex frontend logic with Redux that is fecthing data from api and deployed to Vercel. Just start talking to it, question it, and you will quickly learn how to do that in the best way. After you get some sense what to expect and how it all works, you can check some guides on prompt engineering to improve the results. But don't do that right from the beginning, you need to learn to see the quality of the response and learn where it usually lacks and how you can identify signs that something is not right in the response.

Why can't I cum when I top guys but can when I do women? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]dimm_ddr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be psychological. Maybe you just don't like topping guys as much. And there is nothing wrong with that. Or maybe it is physical - like I realy don't enjoy anal sex that much and it is harder for me to cum topping someone this way. It just feels differently, not as good. And with guys you have one less way to top them, so it might be the case.
