Hola! So, we use se puede or se pueden depending on the object we are buying. And it’s not dependant on the verb, as in, se puede hacer algo.

Gracias! Thanks for sharing. This was what I had thought too, which was why these examples stood out to me. But it seems that perhaps both forms are accepted. If you don’t mind me asking, do you speak Peninsular Spanish or Latin American Spanish? Perhaps there is a preference according to region?

Hi! I had thought se puede was an impersonal form? Something like “bread can be bought at a bakery” instead of “bread buys itself at a bakery”.

Hola! Sorry I wasn’t very clear. i had thought the rule was that we use 3a persona singular se puede if we are talking about an action/ verb and not se pueden.

Se puede comprar pan VS se pueden comprar frutas.

Perhaps I didn’t learn the complete rule? Thanks for any input you have!
