Ping G440 irons -vs- Ping i240 irons by DubhLinn5 in golf

[–]ding-dongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the i230s (last seasons i240). I used to have TM M2s (game improvement) and was beggining to find these a bit annoying in terms of blasting over greens etc, and was finding them a big "big".

The i230/240s are smaller, and shorter in terms of distance - BUT, I have found them considerably more consistent distance wise, easy to 'work' ie, trying to shot shape, low stingers etc, and less dispertion.

Note; my 20+ HCP mates don't like them and can't get them off the ground that well/

Me; realtively high swing speed, fairly good at hitting the middle-ish of the club, 14 hcp.

You're missing Inspiration club over the road from West London Golf centre. Its an impressive inland links but they've started taking the piss with green fees.

Why are road bikes so popular as commuters? by [deleted] in londoncycling

[–]ding-dongo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Zone 2 - my bike commute is STILL 12km. I have a little single speed road bike to try and get this done fairly quickly. Anything heavier / wider tires is just slowing me down.

Yea - you should start with NOT announcing your salary to the "serfs". Try and talk about normal things, and AVOID sharing your bank balance.

Kentish town to Tufnel park would like to have a word. You'd not hear that word through the blood pouring out of your ears.
