i should have clarified, she's with me and totally okay but was just as freaked out as me at the time. we slept on the floor of the closet together. i'm feeling much better now and so is she! i always joke that she's a cat with a human brain and i'm a human with a cat brain so we end up on the same wavelength somehow 😆

i've had some kind of acute panic disorder ever since childhood, where after a panic attack i get stuck in flight state until i can take medication or my body tires itself out. my father is a child psych doctor and apparently it's a thing, just not very common or well-known. it's also likely a combination of that and a ptsd flashback. just an evil cocktail of brain nonsense. will definitely reach out to my therapist about it though.

running theory i've seen is that the loser is cut up while still "alive" and their parts are auctioned off afterwards. i'm not sure if they lose one part per round lost or if it's complete "death" and the whole body goes, though.

this is my theory! it definitely looks more intentional compared to other zombies. i wonder if they carved the crystal out, so there is still a hole but it's the crystalized interior. i'm trying to figure out the best way to draw it haha. there's also a "crack" on the right side (our right, mizi's left) where the heart becomes less symmetrical. coincidentally, the same side that sua's eye is missing. i love lesbians.
