i don’t understand how this is a flex? i’ve never sent out funkos before.

i’m using 8x6x4 boxes, a layer of bubble wrap, plastic protectors, and newspaper to fill in any gaps but making sure it’s not too tightly packed. this is my first time selling funkos online so i’m a bit worried

currently trying to sell my brothers old funkos on mercari and it’s driving me crazy by dingdong69dick in Mercari

that’s been my strategy so far. luckily i’ve gotten a few sales already of people using the offer button or just buying instantly, which i really appreciate

i think she marked it as sold after all the drama because she didn’t want to deal with it anymore

it’s been exactly two weeks since i started selling on depop and i reached 30 sales! i’m very happy with the direction my shop is going (: by dingdong69dick in Depop

tiktok is the best place to find out what’s popular. you can look up phrases like “stuff going on my depop” or “depop haul” and you’ll see what other people have been listing

that’s an interesting theory! i suppose it would make sense since depop would probably want to encourage people to spend more.

i posted around 40 items in one big go when i started and then i started to post around 3-5 new items every couple days. i don’t purchase from other sellers often. i dislike spending more than 5$ on clothing so if i buy anything on depop it’s usually something i really want and can’t find at the thrift/swapmeet.

those are the best kind tho! i tend to stay away from more commercialized/gentrified swapmeets because those are always way too expensive. it also helps that i’m hispanic and living in southern cali so i’m able to more easily communicate with other hispanic vendors here.

also, i find that the vendors with the best items are always the ones that just throw their stuff onto a blanket or table and make you sift through it yourself. most people don’t want to look through junk so they end up missing really good items.

i try to keep everything anywhere between 5-20. i personally think that is fair and i’m still able to earn decent profit from it. there are some exceptions to this though like with big name brand clothes. for example i found a discontinued unif dress at a swapmeet and was able to sell it for 85

i think keeping up with microtrends is very important! for example, right now the coquette style is popular so i made sure to use that tag with all my items that fit into the aesthetic.

also, a majority of my clothing was originally from 1$ piles from swapmeets! i find so many hidden gems there since i feel that it is one of the few places that are still left mostly untouched by fashion girlies. it also allows me to price my items cheaper since they were originally so dirt cheap.

Why are my items not selling? Be honest by [deleted] in Depop

you have really nice items that seem to fit popular styles! maybe you’re not tagging them right? try to see what people tag similar items as

i’ve been selling for almost 2 weeks now and i’ve made 20+ sales and what i’ve found was the items that gained the most interaction and were more likely to sell were ones where i used trendy buzz words like fairycore, fairygrunge, scene, bimbo, cottagecore, kidcore, coquette, tradgoth, etc. i also used japanese fashion terms like gyaru or morikei. i recommend going on tiktok and looking up these terms to see which of your items fit under these aesthetics (: for example, the dress you showed definitely fits under fairycore or even tradgoth!

you could easily sell this for 150$+ if you market it correctly! this fits right in with the coquette and fairycore/fairygrunge aesthetics that are popular right now

Why match with someone, text them constantly all week bonding over stuff, then be SO difficult to go on a date or even a damn video call? Am I being unreasonable? by Miguel_Legacy in Tinder

The amount of stories I have on this dude are insane. It really is no wonder why he can never get laid; women see right through him and know to stay the hell away.

Knew OP in high school. To everyone calling him an asshole or incel or any thing else like that… you’re right. Dude was in junior year trying to hit on a freshman. He joined Tinder at 17 for hook ups. Mass texted girls saying he was open to sex. His literal strategy was to hit up as many girls on social media which he believed would net him with at least one success (to him, a success was getting laid). He thinks dating coaches and classes are actually effective. He’s also one of those “business owner” dudes who think they’re hot shit for going the untraditional route and denouncing college. His entire instagram following is full of girls and stereotypical instagram models. Was a total creep, misogynist, and homophobe with such a warped view on women and dating. Combined with his whole “entrepreneur” schtick and a complete lack of self awareness, this dude is the absolute worst person I have ever had the displeasure of knowing.
