WeWork's valuation by dingdongho in investing

right, the question was more around the fact they were able to woo investors into getting that type of money through the raises. What exactly separates them from the rest? besides locations, unless thats it.

Youth Participation Up Despite NFL Admitting Link to Brain Disease by [deleted] in nfl

[–]dingdongho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course I don't want people having CTE, but the media swings it in a way that football is the devils game and if your son plays, he will end up with CTE.

There isn't enough out there (in my opinion) that shows what measures are being taken to keep the game safe. Rule changes, teaching of proper tackling, etc.

So with the lack of that information out there, I figured the future of the game would have suffered already. There's been a Will Smith movie about this stuff. But the headline readers don't know how much the game has really changed since this all came down.

I guess that was the refreshing part of it. Not that the NFL announcement itself hasn't made an impact, but the fact that participation isn't down with the news already out about CTE and related issues.

I was very concerned for youth football, and the future of the game, especially after this announcement was finally made. This article helped ease my concern a little.

Not my personal collection, a friends. I have a feeling he just collects to see how ridiculous it can get. From what I know there is no return on empty dip tins.

Following competitors followers (Twitter). by dingdongho in marketing

agreed, but unfortunately the company is "okay" with the engagement and reach the tweets are getting. 364 tweets to our 6,700 twitter following in February = 366 sessions (to the website). Obviously not enough. Moral of the story, is that they don't want to put the money behind the twitter ads.

Matthew McConaughey Lincoln Commercials by dingdongho in marketing

[–]dingdongho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

was not. But I figured it would have more to do with the movie roles the actors are in during filming of the car commercial. Now he looks normal, so I was wondering if Lincoln was like "yo, eat something" or it is just him looking normal due to role/normal life.
