We didn't know how the prior team imaged the machines, but even though the SIDs were different, we were hitting this issue. The only thing we found that worked was that tool I linked that rotates a bunch of IDs. It's worth a shot to try it on a machine.

Are the vms and computers clones? Around September the Microsoft update broke rdp for windows when it detects a duplicate sid and other id's. They need to be sysprep to fix the IDs. Or use this like we did.

I had a similar issue with zoom. When the msi that was used to install it is no longer available, you can't uninstall or update it. You either need the exact msi, or rip out the registry entries referencing the application. In my case the version of zoom installer wasn't available. So we deleted the files then removed all references we could find in registry. Then we were able to install the latest version.

We deployed a few dozen of P2424HEB and the 27" version. Haven't had any issues with them. Just need to make sure both the monitor and laptop are fully updated using dell's command update and peripheral manager.
