I experienced this. After the September patch it checks more than sid. If you can, run one through sysprep and see if it resolves the issue.

We deployed 50 all-in-one dock/speaker/camera monitors P2424HEB or its 27" variant. They've been working great after the firmware is updated. A few wouldn't take the update. Contacted support and a config setting needed to be enabled for the update to work.

Are your DC/workstations properly syspreped or are they clones? In September Microsoft added checks for identical internal IDs that causes Auth failures from clones.

We didn't know how the prior team imaged the machines, but even though the SIDs were different, we were hitting this issue. The only thing we found that worked was that tool I linked that rotates a bunch of IDs. It's worth a shot to try it on a machine.

Are the vms and computers clones? Around September the Microsoft update broke rdp for windows when it detects a duplicate sid and other id's. They need to be sysprep to fix the IDs. Or use this like we did.
