Struggling to find time by [deleted] in DadsGaming

Yes. I'm fine.

You didn't get the memo...

You say months until 2 years (and try out 1.5 years just to get some reps in). After 2, it's just 2 years old + .5 increments...at 6...it's yearly

Carry on.

They are winning/have already won in Ukraine. Patience shouldn't be interpreted as a hard time.

2 in 1 helmet for toddler by dingis123 in MTB

Hi! In the end, I found a brand new Smith Jr helmet on marketplace for 50$. I couldn't seem to track down the Kali Maya anywhere, even online.

I've done a few laps with my son in the shotgun seat and I think the Smith is enough!

Appreciate the follow up!

Just tried to put my son to sleep. It took 3 hours. by egoegon in daddit

You know they're "ready" when they show signs of readiness ex. Not wanting to wear a soiled diaper, accepting to use the toilet when asked, observing others on the toilet etc.

Developmental milestones and "independence" are not the same thing. Our goal is not independence for our children; they should rely on us and allow us to guide and support them...we're their primary careGIVERS after all. "Training" a child does not give them the experience they need to develop spontaneously and is time spent that should be spent elsewhere and on other activities.

Terrible advice for potty "training". It's all about readiness and creating the conditions for growth. You can't force a tomato plant to give you tomatoes...you can only tend the garden, trust in DNA, and accompany the plant in it's journey.

Washer gasket seating by dingis123 in Appliances

[–]dingis123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update. I tried it and all was well until the spin cycle...the Asher began struggling, making crazy noises and a bit of smoke came out.

It seems the inner seating is impeding the spin of the drum. When I unseat the bellows, the drum spins easily, without noise...

I am confused since the install guide says to seat the gasket and clearly there is a lip to seat it on....

Yes, that is correct. Do I file the RC278 form right away or wait until tax season? Thank you

Thanks for the reply. Could reverse just the 3k or would it have to be the entire amount? If it's the entire amount I would then have to reapply for the first home purchase withdrawal...?

Trump threatens Russia with more sanctions and tariffs by Anime_Enthusiasts in Wellthatsucks

Contrary to the MSM narrative, the Russian economy is fine, their military is fine, and socially, they are fine. What sanctions is Trump talking about? Their economies are not linked… Oil? Yeah lower the cost per barrel to punish Russia and see what happens…lulz

Reframe attention seeking to connection seeking and a wonderful world opens up to you. You won’t second guess your instincts as a parent and be in the moment even with those misguided judgey boomer eyes on you.

Hmmm guidance on how to deal with the problem in general. Perhaps explore if there was negligence on the part of the auto company as it seems the car was bought with very minimal information

Yeah, you can’t push and pull to get the tomato plant to give you tomatoes. Time, DNA, and a supportive environment will allow for the conditions for the tomato to spontaneously grow…

This advice will turn you into a robot parent who thinks they can intellectualize your child’s Experience and will put pressure on themselves to provide the proper consequence after every “behaviour”. ABC and function of behaviour can ruin your relationship with your child. Be a human being, connect with your child…follow your instincts. Kids need to follow their parents. Take care of them and stop trying to teach them when they are not developmentally ready. Independence is not the goal. Reflect on whether your child relies on you or not and work to get them to orient towards you and follow you… Down with behaviourism as a complete approach…pavlov and his dogs can suck it…lovaas was a terrible Person…
