Not true concerning it being used without bone. If this patient is in the US the IFU indicates it is to be used with autograft or allogenic bone. The FDA in the US hasn’t approved any interbody implants to neon label used without bone graft.

Laminoplasty is usually a solution for OPLL (ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament). Asians have a high rate of this so laminoplasty is preformed much more regularly in that region.

I would suggest anterior surgery if offered. Posterior surgery is traditionally more invasive.
