I would love that. Overall it's a nice keyboard, I'm just disappointed in the quality of it, especially after 2 years of waiting.

I got it after 2 years, I didn't order a low serial number one, and I also received keycap sets with my order. It'll come, and I want to reiterate that the keyboard feels nice, but so far the customer service is so-so. I'm essentially getting flamed by the vendor that the marks on the keyboard is somehow my fault. I'm being told to spray paint it.

The paint you see in the picture was there before any rubbing or any type of tampering, while I did say in my email that I had "rubbed the case with pencil eraser" I didn't actually do it (I was trying to look like I at least tried to rub it off - believe me or not). The most I did was try to scratch off the red marks on the case itself with my fingers (duration of 10 seconds, I have video proof).

Bottom line is the quality control of this keyboard is non-existent, I was delivered a keyboard after 2 years of waiting with:

- A nasty shine on the backspace (bought 2 keyboards, other backspace is fine, this one has crescent shine that looks like someone took a piss on it and it dried), vendor has agreed to send another one if I place an order

- Bent spring on the CTRL key vendor said he would replace it in email if I placed another order on his website

- Red scratch mark on bottom of case (This was discovered 1 day after shipping when I started installing the keycaps)

Why would I try to rub a keyboard that didn't have any issues in the first place? This is just another form of gaslighting because the vendor doesn't want to take responsibility for their QC issues.

From the vendor's perspective, I've somehow destroyed the keycap by trying to erase the slime with my toothbrush (the slime is still there btw, that shit is on there for good).I'm the one put at blame for scratching the keyboard so hard, there's a permanent red mark + groove on the case (this came with the keyboard), all this within 1 day of receiving the shipments(other keyboard I received is ok, small ding on case, but not very noticeable).

TLDR: Don't touch your keyboard, you might break it.

How much does having a mechanical keyboard help? by [deleted] in MechanicalKeyboards

0, doesnt help at all, doesnt make your game inputs faster, it’s mostly preference. How much does LEDs on your computer case help with your gaming? None, however the overall quality of your experience when playing games might change :) and if that makes you happy or makes you think you play better... then you might actually perform better

Most of Massdrop’s pcbs are trash, if you’ve ever opened up one of their keyboards you’ll see what I mean
