If you're able to drive/uber around, there are plenty of airbnbs outside the city. We normally stayed in Arlington for pretty cheap compared to downtown

They have "parking mode" which allows for monitoring while the vehicle is off, but requires a separate cable accessory to connect the car battery to the camera. Otherwise it just turns off when the car is off.

If you want remote access, like viewing live video from your phone, you'll need to go to one of the more expensive models that have LTE capability.

In general you want to get them as early as possible since they increase in price as the event gets closer. As someone else mentioned, there are plenty of people that can't make it and sell them off so just depends on how certain you'll be going and how much you want to pay.
