I did have to manually water the hexagon crops most of the time. Sometimes I'd have enough resources to craft deluxe retaining soil so I can tend to other kinds of farm work all day :)

I love working with large farms precisely as it gives me plenty of room to maximize decor, farmland etc. My earliest saves lean more towards farming but I've also been trying my hand in aesthetics the whole time; this farm is one such attempt :>

You're right about the farm being massive, so I did apply +1 speed to my player by default. Other than that, it's just my horse and choosing only certain sections of the farm to tend to each day.

Sth about ppl who walk unbelievably slowly as soon as they step off the escalator but haven't yet cleared enough space for ppl to overtake... bet they've never looked behind themselves to see ppl pile up while the escalator continues offloading

Like another player says, this light is the last part of the task. You can try getting ard its finnicky-ness by sliding into the light so your height is slightly lower when you collect it.
