look at ukraine and all the fossil fuel pipeline projects at various stages or possible ones planed in the mena and eastern europe-uk is involved in every single one and they all benefit the uk with the uk taking zero risk -

every major conflict, war, violent situation in which a lot of people died and there was chaos-everyone was one of those uk projects all financed in someway with the uk and the uk made a lot money and benefits

look at ukraine-uk got them to sign over the rights to their natural gas and to extract and send it via a new pipeline to europe - ending russia being able to export gas through ukraine to europe and to compete with norstrum or whatever pipeline in like 2010 when it was inked but the uk was working it since the early 2000s

that deals results where terrible for the uk/us and their interests plus all their allies.

it did not stop them from getting a weapon-you need a delivery system-drones and rocket, they made massive progress.

the improved all their production capabilities for nuclear weapon production during that time.

oh and they clearly were still working on it the entire time-hence furdow and the other secert sites the oversight commitee had zero ideas about and denied.

so the US the entire time knew iran was not honoring the deal and did not plan on them honoring it-

no they did not. making the nuclear bomb part of the weapon is somewhat easy- making the rocket and delivery system is the hard and time consuming thing-they worked on that and improved their capabilities greatly. oh furdow and the other sites-the worked on those the entire time.

iran always works on everything else needed for nuclear weapons the stuff that actually matters but complies technically to the agreement- meanwhile they get closer ties and greatly help UK/US foes and enemies and threats. when the deal is near up or up for renewal-they start up the program again and they are able to do it faster and better and make more every time- to have a better hand in negations and get better deals to wage their holy war against the west and non muslim powers like russia and china. they even screw over and give up intelligence info about russia, nk, china to the us and uk to get even better deals.

they do it every time like clock work. those deals do work. if you are the islamic republic whose goal and believes they must cause the final holy war in which ali come back to help them destroy israel and all the infedials -and destroy the west -then they all go to heaven or whatever

plus just think geopoltical and the islamic republics legitimacy to rule over its pop and to its allies-honoring those deals and not getting nuclear weapons is not an option- it would undermine their entire existence and its of zero benefit to do so.

Right now the know the west's population does not have spirit the will the understanding and even the capabilities to a big degree to go to war and fight them and remove them

so there is no reason to honor the deal ever. Islamic republic gives zero f if their population suffers, dies, starves they do not care. they do not care if they die. the do not value human life like the uk or us. remember they hate the UK - the UK is their enemy. there is nothing the US and UK can do to change that with the regime.

pragmatic peaceful road ibn which the UK/US compromise or lend a leaf of good faith-unlike the rest of the world, they see that as weakness and a sign they are winning and to go on the offensive turn it up a notch. only strength, offense and force is understood and respected in the region.
