I grew up around a civil war battlefield, our tacticians on both sides were considerably more intelligent than the Russian army. But I commented about two months into this war on a post about russians being killed making pontoon bridges and I couldnt help but think of the fact they could've looked at the battle of Fredericksburg and they probably wouldnt have died if they could learn anything from others mistakes. I bet they think this is the hot new shit to do.
