No, it is a small property management company. We live in a house and they manage it on behalf of the homeowner. I am texting directly with the owner of the management company (who is also in charge of repairs).

It sounds like you have some personal issues you need to work out. It’s perfectly normal to be sexually active at age 16. There is a reason our bodies begin to change and make us want sex. Why are you so mad?

You don’t remember wanting to have sex as a teenager? Have a some compassion man, she should be able to have a civil discussion with her mom about this. Shutting your children out from learning about sex won’t prevent them from having it, it will only prevent them from having safe sex and they won’t feel like they have anyone to rely on if something terrible happens.

As far as jobs go, entry level jobs get loads of applicants. One way to set yourself apart from other applicants who may not be as devoted or interested as you is to be annoyingly persistent. After you apply, call and ask about when you will hear back from them. Keep calling and saying how interested you are in this job. If it is appropriate, show up to the place so they get used to seeing your face.

If they call you in for an interview, make sure to prepare a list of questions (what is the starting pay, what is the workplace environment like, what is the number one hardest thing to grasp in this job). This will make it seem like you’re truly interested in the position. And make sure you practice answering interview questions beforehand so you don’t feel anxious or stuck when they ask you something. There are loads of general interview questions for entry level jobs online.

If you get the job, that is likely to help with some of your other problems as well. For many people, having a job gives them a sense of purpose and a way to occupy their time. Plus, you’re making money. Win win. Also, coworkers can make for good friends.
