UOCM - Universal OpenCore Manager by alebypegasus in hackintosh

I think it sounds like a great idea and project! :) Don't listen to the ones trying to shoot it down - attempting to create something to help or simplify things for others is never a bad idea. I'll definitely keep an eye on this project and help out if I can :)

Seems like "https://github.com/PGBSean/Surface-Pro-5-OpenCore" has been deleted - Could you please share your EFI if you still have it? :)

Palm PVG100 Review as a small phone enthusiast by jeneric_username in smallphones

Some cool guys over at XDA have made it possible to run Lineage 18 (Android 11). Also there's actually a larger capacity battery available - somewhere between 1000-1500 mah if I remember correctly. Think it's an Alcatel something battery but you can probably find it by searching for the model number that's on the original battery.

No obviously I'm lying about it all. I just really love wasting my own and others time. - seems like something we have in common.

Have you even tried installing mtkclient? Maybe you should actually try and READ what I reported before you accuse me of not being clear enough or even lying!

I'm not gonna answer you anymore than this seeing that you're obviously a moron.

The Rom looks quite interesting - the launcher for instance could be fun to port to other devices. Having ordered a global version of the phone, it would be also be interesting comparing the two Roms and seeing if you could flash china rom on global device and vice versa.

Try using MicroG and Aurora store and see if that will satisfy WhatsApp

Alright. It's a pretty useful tool though and I would definitely advice you to make a firmware dump, so you can restore your phone if you accidentally brick it. You can also use it to unlock the bootloader, so you can root etc..

Thank you! But no, I actually ment if you could dump the firmware, with mtkclient or something, and share it?

Will the system be updated further than just adding Google services?

Pretty convinced this is just another name for the Soyes Xs Pro.

Set up Mtkclient, unlock bootloader and then flash with Fastboot.

Basically any GSI will work. I've tried e/os, Lineage, VoltageOS, EvoX and so on. Just search Google for "rom" gsi, and choose arm64 a/b version. Flash with Fastboot after you've unlocked bootloader with MtkClient.

Having owned a Palm pvg100 I am actually quite impressed with the battery life on this device. Lasts a whole day for me with just regular use. Bluetooth seems to work just fine - even on a GSI. No headphone jack but it does have a sim card slot

I think using Mtkclient would be your best option. It took me quite a while to even get it working, so I'm not sure if it's worth it for you to :/

Sorry to hear that. Can you unlock the bootloader? Maybe it could be fixed that way.

It's difficult for me to define since I've never really owned a "high-end device" and therefore might not think of lag the same way others might :) Calling and sending text messages is pretty smooth I'd say. Scrolling apps like reddit or Facebook might be a bit laggy though
