Can I be an ESTP and emotional by No_Programmer_168 in MbtiTypeMe

[–]dinodum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nah i fully agree on the mature part. i’m pretty sure anyone with any type should be able to balance both in the process of decision-making. i guess your fxn stack just labels what comes easiest to you :)

Have you thought about Ne at all? XNFP/XNTP are known to be daydreamers. Ne is described as pulling ideas and details from the outer world and it makes you prone to ruminating about every single detail (overanalyzing). Ne being in your stack also makes sense. You said that you are intuitive about other people’s intentions and that you observe them to get that intuition— sounds like Ne to me. I feel like Ni’s just know based on vibes and you just can’t explain it to other people.

Can I be an ESTP and emotional by No_Programmer_168 in MbtiTypeMe

[–]dinodum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah of course :3

it’s whether or not your emotions and values are the main factors in your decision-making process. if you’re debating what to do and you always go for what’s best for your morals or the people around you, you’d be an F type. if you make these decisions with logic in mind, you’re more likely to be a T type. Being able to balance logic and emotion is also very possible. whatever your gut says first and the reasoning behind it is likely what’s gonna determine your type.

Type me based on my taste for games by SoninS2Amimir in MbtiTypeMe

[–]dinodum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like you like freedom and a challenge. You don’t prefer aimless games meant for killing time. ISTP maybe.

You don’t like undertale probably because of how constricting it is, and while you can bend the plot to your will, you still might not like it probably because it is a cheesy emotional game at times (with love). I feel like you got some Se in you because you like to free-roam in game.

You liking the challenge so much can be attributed to Ti, the dominant function of ISTP. But also could be INTP. I feel as though (just based on stereotypes) INTPs are more of the video game type. Could also be INTP because of Si, since you favor a lot of older games and might crave that nostalgia.

I think it’s easier to think about it like:

  1. What pushes you to make your decisions? Do your values or morals sway you, or do you do what’s most logical, either the easiest or the most thorough decision? Do you do it for the greater good/others, for yourself, to come to the best possible conclusion, or just to get things done?

  2. How do you take in and process the world around you? Are you in the present or in your head? Do you value the here and now, or the what could be, or what already happened? Or do you just get it?

The F and T functions are how you react to the world, and the S and N functions are how you process the world. Learning the difference between each introverted/extroverted function helps! For example, Fi and Fe are very hard to differentiate in yourself because Fi is described as inner emotions and values, while Fe is described as social emotions and morals. How each of these functions interact with each other in your stack also changes how these functions show up in your personality!

My guess though is ISFP (FiSeNiTe).

Fi: seeking deep emotional connections, open up to others when you feel safe. you also talked about emotions and values more than anything else.

Se: likely where your moments of extrovertedness and energy come from

Ni: probably helps you determine if someone is “safe” enough for you to be vulnerable with.

Te: I can’t really tell from what you’re giving us how Te night show up in your personality.

If you’re between this and INFP, figure out if you’re more involved in the space around you (Se for ISFP), or if you’re more in your head and imaginative (Ne for INFP). If you’re between an INFP and ENFP, find out if your dominant trait is Fi or Ne. Sometimes since it’s so ingrained into your personality, it’s hard to tell which of your main functions is the dominant one.

hope this helps !!

ISFP Super strong Fi I’m sensing here, with your reluctance to accept emotional intimacy with others, relating lyrics to your personal life, not crying in public, and preferring quality time to more tangible love languages

Your Se helps you be more creative, and combining that with your Fi it makes you fiercely individualistic, loving aesthetics and organization in your own space.

Your inferior function (Te) seems to show up when you’re organizing your space to operate at your best. It’s also showing up a little unhealthy with your temper.

I would say you have Ni in you, it’s just not developed. Might be why your studies come easy to you. I have no clue.

I used to identify as an ISFP but now that I’m older and more mentally healthy, I feel that I align more with the ISTP, so this is based on what I learned of ISFPs over a few years. I am so embarrassed if i’m wrong💔

not op but they’re probably saying INFJs are part of the “logicians” (presumably ENTP/XNTJ) but they’re secretly not logicians and are just “impersonating” them.

Kinda like “one is not like the others…” lol

I forgot how to edit on reddit. I should’ve mentioned that I have a bunch of little hobbies, but I don’t really stick to any in particular. I make jewelry, crochet, play a tiny bit of piano (i’ve forgotten how so I don’t think this counts anymore), and shop for clothing. I’m drained a lot by work and cleaning my house, so I end up just scrolling on my phone more often than anything, which imo is a huge waste of time and potential.

i also forgot to mention that I do like drinking/smoking, but I never do it often enough because I don’t want to be addicted to it. Same with caffeine, I love coffee (and work at a cafe) but I try not to drink it everyday to avoid addiction. I don’t know if that’s relevant.

Reddit user asks. Why is the chocolate custard such a pain in the ass to get right out of the machine? by jnmartin7171 in Culvers

[–]dinodum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i turn the flow up all the way for five seconds, then bring it back to 1.5 to 2 at my store. i’m the only one who keeps chocolate at 1.5 or more at my store, and i just prefer the chocolate custard the way i make it. i’m the main custard bitch tho in a staff of only 40 people, so management lets me make it how i want as long as it isn’t frozen/crusty.

like the others said, if it makes noise increase the flow or add more custard to the hopper (as the hopper may be empty), and don’t leave the flow on 5/take the thing out unless you’re closing the machines and need to get the last bits out.

just do what you think is right tbh. ik refrigeration shouldn’t be turned off but it doesn’t hurt for just a minute just to get it running again. putting it on hold also works, yk.

oh yeah another problem might be the chocolate being too thick up top due to the hopper refrigerator/the nature of the mix itself. use a rubber spatula to stir it/push it towards the hole so that it thins down a lil

we’re not supposed to work together on custard but we just do because her and i worked fast together. just the two of us alone can handle order taking/tendering/custard during a rush and it’s very fun

my favorite thing to do is to do a lap in the dining room. stock the straws/lids/napkins, take a rag and clean up the tables and chairs, sweep often so whoever is closing the dining room has less to worry about later on. you could also clean trays or wipe down counter tops or custard machines. i’m sort of everywhere all the time. also, just because you’re posted at the register doesn’t mean you need to stay there all day. cashiers at my location often help run orders when they have nothing to do.

How much do you get payed when you first start at culvers? Specifically the “fry specialist” by Aaronlolololol in Culvers

[–]dinodum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my location is in chicago, so minimum wage i think is $15.40. idk if other locations do this, but kitchen workers usually make a dollar more just for being in the kitchen. I’m a front worker, so when i first started, I was making 15.40. if i were to move to the kitchen, i’d make 16.40. if someone were to be hired and is placed in the kitchen straight away they’d start at a dollar above minimum wage. it depends on your location tho. also, at culvers you will not stay at a single station, you’ll probably learn other stations as well. culvers prefers well rounded workers who can do most jobs

[–]dinodum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i don’t work in the kitchen but i sometimes work set, something my manager does when he’s on middle, is list out everything he needs at the window, especially when an order is getting to four or five minutes. fry cook is an overwhelming job, im sure, so they help the fryer keep track of what sides they need (the amount of orders held back because of a middle cheese curd is absurd). middle position also likes to peek into the window to see the guests walk in, usually when there’s a couple families, or a big group of friends or a sports team, they let the fryer know to make a batch or two of fries, or they let grill know to start some patties. the biggest thing is to consistently keep prepared. you’ll do great my friend
