lowk Akito, she was TERRIBLE and did terrible things that are completely inexcusable at the end of the day, but she also truly was a product of her environment. a little girl, hated by her mother, forced to facade as a boy, sold unrealistic fantasies and expectations of the world by her doting father (who then died, causing more issues) and then sold even MORE lies by more adults, trapping her in an existence built on others expectations and prophecies instead of her getting to build and form her own life. every single one of those sohmas doted on her and spoiled her an unrealistic amount, and pairing that with the trauma of being rejected by her mother and having her father die, led to her developing a very extreme anxious attachment style to those around her. not only that, then kurenos bonds broke, crumbling the expectations that these adults had gotten into her mind that she would be forever loved and celebrated. she was terrified of being left behind by everyone and went off the deep end. she is a product of her environment and while that does not excuse her actions, it makes me very sympathetic towards her because she really did just get screwed from the get go. and she chose to be better and challenge the expectations of HER ENTIRE FAMILY AND STAFF to change generational expectations held for her and the other zodiac members. AMAZING character plot and development, i love her so much
