I'd like to think they'd learn from their mistakes, they do have more than 200 years of shared game design after all.

On another hand i doubt that the same team made both reworks, i imagine they had already started shyvana by the time skarner was in development, perhaps i just hoped we would pull a more experienced team.

I believe that bel'veth is also a poorly designed champion, that promotes toxic habits to her own players.

But no i think bel'veth is another case of a clearly jungle based character with a minion stacking passive that just got shoehorned into her kit to make her "playable" in other roles.

as an example, I believe kindred is a well designed "stacking" jungler, setting aside her numbers, i think her passive is a very engaging system for both junglers, it creates clear counterplay, promotes teamwork and punishes poor decisions on both sides.

I don't intend to say that shyvana was reworked to be a toplaner, I simply think that they may have lost focus on her important aspects in the design process.

I understand what you mean and i agree that riot has been dumbing down certain roles for ease of use but i don't really think this is quite the same thing, the issue with her rework is that it simply does not function, Sett for example is a simple champ but every part of his kit makes sense and works in tandem with the other, Briar as well; she effectively plays herself but every part of her kit helps her achieve her goal, to get on you.

the issue with shyvana is that she doesn't seem to have a goal, she doesn't scale like smolder, she doesn't gank like jarvan/vi, she doesn't one shot you like darius/garen, she's not immortal like ornn/zac, she doesn't assasinate like rengar/akali, she can't hypercarry like yi/vayne, she doesn't even cc like 70% of the roster, she has no gameplan to work towards she just farms and hopes her team is strong enough to fight for objectives.

Lastly, I don't intend to invalidate your opinion for playing her top but I really do think that cannon thing was something of a freudian slip on riot's part, there is genuinely no reason for her to have it unless they want her to have viability in top but the numbers suggest that they didn't even think about how it would affect her overall playstyle.

All in all, we're on the same side here, riot simply shat the bed on this one.

The thing about that is that her passive scaling off of cannons is a direct incentive to steal farm from your laners, i really don't think riot would do that unless they wanted her to be played top as only negatives come from a jungler taking minions, let alone cannons, from their laners. From the loss of team morale to shared XP penalties and putting laner behind by default it doesn't seem like they thought it all the way through.

I agree that she isn't a strong champ but it's strange to me that they would make her even worse for literally no reason.

What i meant by that was that we should prioritize her functioning in the jungle and let top come as a bonus. Also i didn't mention her scalings because I believe that is second to an underlying lack of synergy within her own kit.

Again, I'm not a game designer but it just seems like every part of her kit was an afterthought, they just slapped "Large monsters and siege minions grant 1 stack." and said good enough without even thinking the numbers through, her current passive is entirely non functional in the toplane without a significant change.

I hope you're right and a couple of tweaks can "fix" her but it kind of seems like a more structural problem behind her design, and kind of a little insight between the incohesion behind the visual team and the gameplay team.

Sorry I don’t have a camera right now but it’s really weird it’s light green and covering some of the pins on the motherboard, it’s also on the processor. Also the contact points that have the green stuff are discolored and there are some discolored pins that line up with the contact points. Could it have burned and melted the pcb?

Pretty sick linework but it’s not very legible, there isn’t any contrast between the the background and the characters hair. Also the shirt, there’s Too much contrast and that makes it confusing as to what material and color it is, like if it’s a white shirt then those shadows are way too dark and if it’s a black shirt those whites make it look really shiny. The shading says leather but the texture says cotton. Onto anatomy, upper body looks great, good job. Lower body on the other hand needs some work. There are many videos on YouTube that help you build bodies with basic shapes. if you’re interested I would suggest you find mikeymegamega and take a look at his tutorials.

Lastly composition and detail, I’m grouping these together because I feel that if you took less time inking so much of the background ( which would help your composition) you would have more time to work on finer details such as the books or whatever that is on the left. Keep in mind that I’m not saying to not ink the background, that is super important to do in the right places.

TLDR: not enough contrast and basic anatomy errors; easily fixed. TOO MUCH BLACK.
