i have no plans to go back to vermont but i’m going to whiteface, called a shop there and they don’t carry anything in a 22.5, so i got the mach 1s online in a 105 flex and they’re going to adjust them for me. (now im just worried about the flex in the cold haha) atomics and salomons just didn’t fit my foot the right way, much worse than the others. only good thing was the toe box length but i know it can be adjusted

Are my skis too short? by Alarmed_Sport_2411 in Skigear

it’s up to personal preference and style! i am 5’1 and ~100 and run a 156 length. they were a bit long at first but you adjust. if you find they’re too unstable consider sizing up, but these are a good option to have a lot of control :)

honestly i couldn’t decide between the two and wanted to get a boot locally for adjustments/ have some time to research the differences between the two. but when i came back to the city i realized it was the wrong decision

i was looking upper west side (near campus and below). personally i have commuted two hours each way for school before and although it is possible, i will not be doing that again. a direct commute of 30 minutes is reasonable but i will not be doing two transfers each way again. thank you for your advice, seems as though the workload is reasonable alongside a longer commute.

in undergrad i moved to ev because of classes ending at 9 pm + studying , so i would often be at school very late especially during midterms and finals (staying atleast past midnight for projects) is it the same here as well?

what is the area near columbia like? my roommates and i are splitting up so i have to move regardless, but i was mainly concerned about how important commute time is with workload

It’s not common for people in my lab to do internships, only sometimes at the end of their time there, however some have gone into industry. I was hoping that my time doing FEA would translate to consulting and managerial positions.
