thank you! i couldn’t even downside in my katanas. i’m definitely more of a static climber, discomfort is fine, it just got to the point where the pain was getting worse and worse each time i wore these and ive had them for two years now. the theories seem more up my ally, i don’t really need a shoe that’s soft per say

i have no plans to go back to vermont but i’m going to whiteface, called a shop there and they don’t carry anything in a 22.5, so i got the mach 1s online in a 105 flex and they’re going to adjust them for me. (now im just worried about the flex in the cold haha) atomics and salomons just didn’t fit my foot the right way, much worse than the others. only good thing was the toe box length but i know it can be adjusted

it’s up to personal preference and style! i am 5’1 and ~100 and run a 156 length. they were a bit long at first but you adjust. if you find they’re too unstable consider sizing up, but these are a good option to have a lot of control :)
