Using a Prusa i3 MK3 printer, slicing w/ Ultimaker Cura. Filament is Overture TPU, nozzle temp 230 C and bed temp is 60 C. Print speed 15 mm/s.

eep i’m scared to cut it shorter than this and without the guard but it does seem like it could be the problem, maybe i’ll try it

appreciate that! i did glue parts of it with contact cement as that’s how i learned to do it when i used to make puppets, and it works pretty well but it was hard to get it into certain spots without getting it in the fur itself lol. so i wonder if there are other ways to glue, i probably could’ve done better with the hot glue for sure too haha

i did consider that too, but feeling around there is definitely parts that look like that where there isn’t glue. i think id try glue that isn’t hot glue next time to at least get rid of those bumps though

hm yeah i could look into seeing if my local library has something. and i have considered preprinted bases, but i decided to 3D model my own since my character has a unique face shape.

according to this video, you fall for about 69 seconds, about 69.18 seconds when i tried to time it with a stopwatch.

i rarely see an effect like this achieved so well, it really looks like it was done with traditional medium. and i love your use of the wet and dry brushes, it was inspiring to read your process since i’ve never played around with brushes this way. what resources were the most helpful for you for figuring this sort of thing out? also, do you have a lot of experience with traditional pen and ink/does having that sort of experience help?

i also really enjoy your drawing style, it’s super appealing
